that you can't get/or usually get in your area? I was browsing recipes to meal plan and I really miss fried green tomatoes. The produce here sucks in comparison to Ohio,(grew up there) and it is not easy to find green tomatoes in AZ. Do you have any regional faves you miss?

Oh yeah it melts in your mouth like a million little rainbows and their little pots of gold.

Seriously it was the only way I would eat meat as a kid. My parents begged mi abuela to make it, like on their knees praying please kinda begged.

There's not enough places for non-pork tamales. I love them and would get them more but C cant have pork and I don't like bringing home stuff he cant eat.

My Nana was Austrian and made amazing schnitzel. I'm sure it was awful for us, but it was amazing. I've never had a schnitzel that compares. I live in a very Polish/Italian area now, and schnitzel isn't in many menus around here... Not that it would be as good as Nana's anyway.

OMG! I always wondered why it was different here but I had no idea it's not the same thing. What a strange difference.

I can't drink the malt beverage ones. I find them disgusting. All of the "girly" drinks in a bottle are made with hard liquor in Canada instead of malt. My mom always has the fridge stocked with every flavor of Mike's when we go home to visit lol.
