Intro (loss mentioned)

I currently have been posting in the TTGP, but have been lurking around this for some time. We (my SO and I) would have had a baby with an April fool's EDD, but we mc'd in July. I'm realizing now that a lot of my TTGP questions are better suited for this board. I guess they always were but the thought of posting in an "after a loss" board kind of made things more real to me. (I may sound weird for thinking that, I apologize).
About me: I am 29, have a beautiful 10 yr old son with autism (previous marriage) I myself am a full time nurse, I suffer from a heart defect, type 1 insulin dependant diabetic, my uterus/cervix are slightly prolapsed, and I have ms (non progressive at the moment). I should say if I come across as being confusing, the ms sometimes "blurs" my thought process.
My SO: is also the same age as me, a huge gym freak and works full time.

I have been off bc since may, attempting to chart but working shift work makes it hard to temp. Been taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid.

Welcome. So sorry for your loss.

I temp and am really bad about waking up in the middle of the night, so I can't ever get the time to be the same each day. I've heard from others on the board that while it is best to temp at the same time everyday, its more important to be sure that you are temping after at least 3 hours of sleep. I hope this helps.

@SandSunBliss I was just worried that the temps would be off if I didn't temp near the same time. Some days I work until 3 pm or 11pm then there are days I work nights until 7:30am so even my 3 hrs sleep would be different times

I would say to just give it a shot and see how your charts look. You will probably still be able to see some sort of shift even if you have a few wonky/missing temps in there. Also, charting secondary signs like CM and OPKs will help FF to pinpoint O even if some of your temps aren't great.

It's worth a shot. I've heard we have a few other shift workers on here and I think they are able to see a shift despite somewhat erratic temperatures. GL whatever you decide!

Thanks all

I have been using cm as a charting tool, I think I might go get a thermometer and give it a go. Maybe start next cycle with temps as I am already cd7 at the moment with this cycle.
