    How do you address people IRL? It must be hard trying to come up with something witty without using GIFs.

    I..... I made it to the present comments you guys! Holy cow!!! I can't believe that this is still going. 

    And I agree that lurking is the way to go.... there are some girls on The Bump who can take snarky a bit too far, or end up sounding dismissive or mean, but if you lurk for more than even a day you realize how many "am I pregnant" threads are started. I mean.... all the time. You learn that most woman are just being sarcastic, or are just tired of seeing those posts. The few that may be worse than that you just ignore.... just like real life. If you find one board is particularly hostile, move onto another one! 


    And I'm not saying that any women on this particular thread crossed any line, I'm just talking in general. This board is great. 

    edit: my meme didn't work. It just said "Calm Down.... It's just the internet..."

    I can definitely see how that could be frustrating, especially if it's a few times a day. I suppose in most other TTC forums I've come across simply ignore these posts and don't engage. Though in my experience, the "drive by's" have ended up becoming critical members of the group if met with welcome arms. 

    You guys have a way of doing things here and I don't agree with it. I'm not asking you to change your ways, I'm just asking for you to sit back and think about how your words affect others - especially those in the stressful TTC journey.

    WTF that does not make sense at all. I have no reason to try to cover my ass. I really give two shits about what you think of me which is why I don't run and cry over it. I stay and stand up for myself
    You keep saying you're standing up for yourself. You weren't the OP of this thread and you belong to another board and have no desire to be a part of the group. THAT doesn't make sense to any of us. And btw, here's the definition of troll:

    Absolutely agreed I could not believe when I seen this post the poor women who posted this, they jumped all over her joy just because they are jealous and only think about there own feeling, there behaviour is Disgusting and good on you for standing up to them :)
