  Thank you everyone. Things are going as well as can be expected. I'm taking care of myself with some assistance from my husband. My doctor says she thinks we will be fine to do the hour and a half drive back to my hometown as well.
  
  We will get through what we can for now and just have to deal with the rest while I am on leave.

  I am very sorry for your loss. My mother lost her father shortly before my brother was born, so I know it is a hard situation. Just know that your father will still be there with you for everything. T&Ps.
