What does/will your child(ren) call your parents and in-laws?

This will be my parent's third grandchild, and my nephews already call them Memaw and PawPaw (can you tell I live in the South?), but it will be DH's parents' first. We were trying to come up with good names for them last night, and I came across this hilarious list:

ETA: TOTALLY kidding on these names. I think they're all hilarious. I would not be able to try to get LO to say these with a straight face. I'm sure they'll be called something like Grandma and Grandpa. Ha.

Those are pretty out there. DH's parents Grandma and Papa- names from previous grandchildren My Mom was Grammy but now DD calls her LaLa ( made it up herself) and my Dad was Grampy before he passed.

DD calls DH's parents Mimi and Papa, and I can't even remember what all his grandparents are called, since she just calls them the same as what DH and BILs and SIL call them. It gets slightly confusing because there's also another Mimi on his side of the family, as well as that being what we call my mom's stepmom, but we only see her once a year, so it's not too bad. And then my mom's Gigi (literally, that's what my mom said she wanted to be called, so we just went with it). So, kind of don't think that's going to change this time around. Heh.

My mom is Namma, my dad is Bampa. His mom died well before either were born and his dad has seen our oldest once and never seen our youngest (he never even calls to see how everyone is and he only lives 2 hours away) These were made up by my oldest.

My in-laws are Grammy and PopPop. My mom is Grandma, Dad is Papa, and my stepdad is Grandpa...however, none of them on my side are married anymore so there may be future grandparent names in the future.

MIL and FIL will be grandma and grandpa and my parents, nana and pop pop. When I had DS neither side were first time grandparents so the names were kind of already picked on both sides.

This is first grandchild for both of our parents. My mom wants to be called honey and her husband Bobo, I hope that turns into bozo (can you tell I don't like him? Lol) my MIL wants to be called lovey but FIL hasn't specified so ill let the baby choose. My grandparents have crazy names so I'm sure these names will turn into something totally different when LO tries to say them. Whatever sticks.

DS calls my parents Nona and Grandma which is supposed to be Grandpa but for some reason he can't pronounce the pa. It makes my dad really uncomfortable and he's always trying to correct him which makes it even funnier to me. I hope it just continues.
He calls my MIL grandma.

LOL at those names!

DD was the first grandchild on both sides, so they all picked their own "names." MIL and FIL are Grammy and Pap Pap, my mom is Grandmommy and my dad is Pop.

My mom wants to be called "Nana", but I can't picture her as anything besides "Grandma"! My dad will be called "Grandpa"

And we don't talk to H's parents at all.
So, sadly, LO will only have one set of grandparents.

I have no idea yet and neither do my parents. My inlaws like the traditional names and they already have grand kids, so they'll stick with what works for them. My mother, on the other hand, refuses to be called anything resembling grandma- or anything that would ID her as a grandmother. So, I guess we'll see.

My parents: 4th grandchild so their names were already set...Nana and Grandaddy
My gparents: Granny and Grandaddy Jimmie

DH's side got to pick their names with DD.

DH's mom: Granmama
DH's stepmom: Grammy
DH's gmother: Memaw (DD thinks she's her grandmother because we rarely see DH's mom)
DH's dad passed away 12 yrs ago. I did ask DH what should we call him or what he would have like to have been called, because we will talk to our kids about him; but he hasn't decided on a name yet.

DS was not the first grandchild on either side, so names were set... And by what the kids ended up calling them. They were all referred to as grandma and grandpa at first.

MIL and step FIL: granny and PawPaw
FIL: pappi (although DS doesn't see him enough to know or call him this. We haven't seen him in a year).

WIth the other grandchildren in my family. My mom and her husband hare called grandma/pa (first name). My dad is called grandpa (last name). Great grandparents are referred to by last name. I'm glad my SO only has a mother that's never around it gets a little confusing. My poor nephews other side is bigger and more confusing.

My parents will be just plain old Grandma/Grandpa but DH's parents are going to be her "day care" and want to teach her Arabic (It's their first language and we want her to be bi-lingual) so she will be refering to them as the arabic version which is Toto (like the dog from wizard of OZ) for MIL and Giddo (Like the word "ditto" but with a hard G) for FIL.
