going for consult at SJ Fertility.....what should i expect?

about to go for first consult, am over 35, so im wondering what is the order of testing that they suggest? and are they painful? any insight is very much appreciated!!! =))))

    When I was referred there in the spring my regular OBGYN had done several blood tests first to check my thyroid, and levels of different hormones. I also was sent to SJ Fertility for an HSG procedure, which I was worried about because a lot of people say they're painful, but mine was nothing more than uncomfortable. Once I was officially a patient at SJ Fertility the only other tests they did were through bloodwork. I am 31, so I don't know if there are any additional tests if you're over 35. Good luck! We got pregnant on our 1st IUI with SJ Fertility!

    they have the same schedule that they put a lot of people on. first it's a consult, then an internal ultrasound on a certain day of your cycle to check what's going on and some bloodwork, next was a follow up consult to come up with a plan. I did have an HSG done and for me, it felt like the absolutely worst period cramps you can imagine. everyone was so nice and the pain is pretty much done once the procedure is over. we were setting up my first round of Clomid when we found out I was pregnant, which the dr told me can happen after an HSG is done. I really loved it there though. everyone is so nice!
