There is something vibrating on the wall in the hospital annoying the crap out of me. I can't wait to nap on my own bed tomorrow - even if it is only a few minutes!!
All I've done all day is feed this child. Five, hour plus feedings have me completely worn out. Looks like I'm working on number 6, too. I got no "mommy time" today because dh got home from work late then had an hour long massage appt 30 minutes away. He basically got home and went to bed.
I'm so lonely.
TurtleMomma i am right there with you. Im extremley lonly since im home alone taking care of my son by myself all day every day. Ill let you know if it hets better.
Also i just nursed and gave ds two bottles in the last hour so i put him back on the boob and he fell asleep instantly. Boob milk, its like a sleeping pill for my son.
I have an inside baby and have been having pretty bad (sorry for the grossness) diarrhea pains without actually needing to go. Won't let me sleep! Ugh. As much as this sucks, I'm glad LO is waiting it out until his due date. It's worth the wait and pains.
Just finished feeding #2. DD is doing great feeding, but my body is still working on evening out my oversupply. I've been trying to lean back when nursing too to help w/fast let-down, but seems that change is irritating my right side a bit more. Going to try & get some rest before she eats again.
We are up for our first feeding after a nice four hour stretch. Seeing that he nursed for two hours before bed, I was in need of a break.
Anyone else struggle with grumpiness/ impatience from sleep deprivation? I end up feeling awful because I lose my patience with my husband and kids. I know that everyone is adjusting to having a new baby and I want to be supportive, but having no sleep and multiple two year old tantrums a day is getting to me... Advice? Support?
Right there w you on the sleep deprived frustration. We have a 3yo who goes to FT daycare, otherwise I'd lose it w him daily. Even now as it is, both H and I can be short w him.
I literally can not function when he wakes up at 6am, especially if I've just been up feeding babies from 430 to 530. Starting my day at 430am when I got to bed at 1030pm and have two hour long awake periods means 4 hours of broken sleep per night. It's enough to drive anyone crazy.
Dh is attempting to distracting Reid for 3 hours so I can get a decent stretch of sleep.

Just finished feeding #3 overnight... We're working on the EASY method with her and the first stretch of sleep last night, she slept 4 hours! Unfortunately it started at 8 and I didn't go to bed til 10...but still awesome. then we've been up every 2 hours since...but she's also going through her 6 week growth spurt. Lots of feedings going on!
LO gave me another 6 hour stretch, but now she's awake and wants to eat continuously from 2-4am which I'm ok with since she is being nice and giving me some sleep. Hope everyone's nights are going well!
LO was up for her first feeding and was just about back to sleep when H let out a super loud snore. Woke her up and then she peed through her sleeper and swaddle. Changed her, got her almost back to sleep and he let out another huge snore. She is finally in her bed asleep and I'm laying here unable to sleep.
Have been up timing my contractions (3-5 mins apart but not painful, more like a strong BH). I have my first NST in about an hour, and I am officially a week overdue! I can't sleep so I'm in the nursery on my glider.
No baby for me... After a night of sleep, not a ctx to be found. Seriously, this is starting to feel like a bad joke.
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
Not going to lie.. We had a great night for it being the second night home. We went to bed around 11:30, put her in her crib right after her feeding, I had to wake her up at 2:30 to nurse, right back in her crib with no fussing and we all went back to sleep from 3:30 to 6:30.
Still up trying to get LO to sleep after her bedtime feed (it's now 12:45). Not even looking tired and just feeding and feeding. Had a great night last night after a 19 hr awake stint the night before. Why do the good nights seem to only be one offs??!!

Why is he the on getting the massage? You're the one who just gave birth.

He gets them because he was in a car accident last fall and its therapeutic for him (physical therapy isnt working anymore). Its not a "for pleasure" thing.
