If you had to guess your baby's sex right now . . .

Last time around I didn't have an intuitive sense one way or the other. (I'm secretly jealous of women who just "know.") I don't have a strong feeling one way or another for this baby either, but just for the heck of it, I'll guess another girl.

I don't care if you base it off of the Chinese gender chart, your morning sickness, the baby's heart rate, your cravings, your gut feeling, whatever. Just guess! :)
It's a boy! Born 42 weeks, 2 days.

  • I "knew" from the very beginning that DD was a girl. This time I've thought boy since the start.

Ooooh, I'm extra curious to see if you'll be right again! Also, I love the name Evelyn. Awesome choice. :)

  • As badly as I hate to admit it since I've been playing devil's advocate with DH, I seriously feel like it's a boy.

Lol, I'm probably going to be the same way with my MIL. She hasn't guessed yet, but she was one of only two people to be right about DD, so I'll definitely be influenced by her opinion!

  • I didn't have a strong feeling with DD1 - guessed boy and was wrong. DD2, I knew without a doubt she was a girl. This one, I think boy again. This first tri has been harder on me than the other two.

  • Something else because I really have no idea
  • Early on, I had ZERO intuition about it, and I felt bummed. Then, around week 9(?) or so, I started feeling like it was a boy. Around week 10 I had a super vivid dream that clearly showed me a developing baby penis (like I was viewing it up close on a 3D ultrasound). It was weird... but I woke up convinced that we were having a boy and have felt that way so strongly since. We had our NT scan yesterday morning, and the tech told us it looks like Baby is a boy. So I think my intuition might have been spot on!

  • I think they are girls... But I have absolutely no reason for thinking that. I just think it.

It may have to do with my MIL openly hoping they are boys...

  • I voted "girl" but I really have noooooo idea. It just seems that all of my friends have had boys lately, so statistics probably mean I'll have a girl. Haha. We'll see!

I had a very strong girl feeling with DD, we were team green but literally from the second I saw the positive pregnancy test I pretty much knew she was a girl even though EVERYONE said boy.

For DS, I thought boy at first, but then wavered and couldn't make up my mind.

This time I'm not as sure as I was for DD, but I'm thinking girl again.  We'll find out in March ;)

ETA:  I think one reason I'm feeling girl is that it would be SO much easier if it was a boy, lol.  DS was also born in March so all his baby clothes would match the right seasons and they'd be sharing a room eventually and would be closer in age (3 years vs. 5.5).

  • My husband wants a boy so bad I just think its a girl, but I don't care either way. So I hope it's a boy for him but I just don't feel like it is.

  • I didnt know that J was a boy until I saw him during our NT scan...for some reason he just looked like a boy to me lol. We couldnt see the boy parts yet, but I knew...I feel different this pregnancy, so I'm leaning towards a girl- but I'm kinda hoping its a boy because I already have 3 sisters and thats enough girl drama to last me a lifetime. Although, I do think its awesome that my Mom has daughters now that we're adults- so many lunch dates and shopping buddies.
  • I voted girl based on the fact that DS is insisting it's a girl. I have no really feeling either way. DH is also convinced it's a girl, but I think that's because he desparately wants a little girl :)
  • I'm convinced its a boy. DH thinks girl. This is our first so neither of us have a preference.
  • I voted girl because that is what H is saying. I am actually leaning that way too, but I am so girly that my friends say I will only have boys and have to learn all that stuff. Plus H is one of 3 boys and his brother just had a boy...his family makes boys!
  • Everyone thinks its a girl, so it's in my head that its a girl, even though I have NO idea! I may get a guess at NT on Monday.

  • I had no intuition about it earlier, but I kinda have the feeling it's a girl now. Hubby really wants a boy tho, but thinks that bc he wants a boy so badly, it'll be a girl!

  • I said girl, but that's because it's what I want. There are a million benefits to having another boy though! Ha! Either way, whatever. I really just wanted another baby.

I said girl. My symptoms are more similar to my daughter than my son...I know that doesnt really mean anything.

Also dd is going to be 2.5 when baby arrives. It would be easy peasy to have two lil girls share a room and sister stuff growing up. Im good either way im simply saying it would be easy.

Also I think its cool that its pretty much 50/50 on the poll.

I'm thinking it's a girl. And, no, it's not because I really, really, really, really, really, want a girl. It's uhhhhh... Maternal instinct! We'll call it that ;)

  • I have had 2 very vivid dreams where my baby was a boy. I was breastfeeding him in one dream and the other I saw it on an ultrasound. I didn't know either way before but now that I've had those dreams I think it is a boy. We are team green so I won't know for sure for quite a while but I will be thrilled whether I am right or wrong :)

  • I'm thinking girl. So is DH (it's what he wants), the chinese calendar, the ring on a string predicter, etc. LOL and with all the signs pointing to a girl... I'll end up with a boy (which is perfectly awesome too)

You would think that, but be prepared for it to not be true, haha. I'm two years older than my sister and we shared a room til I was 12- it was NOT easy on my mother. We fought like cats and dogs. I put a line down the middle of the room. We still don't like each other very much.

  • I think I am having a third boy but everyone else is hoping for some girl dust this time around!
  • i'm saying girl because I am so much more sick this time then I am with my son.

  • my dh is convinced girl, I have four boys and would love a daughter so I'm scared to think girl bc if its not I don't want dh to be disappointed (and yes me too for just a few moments).  I knew for my first 2 pregnancies it was boy and I was right, my 3rd pg was "different" so I thought girl... I was wrong.  My fourth I knew boy!

just too early perhaps for me to have that gut feeling...

  • I want a little girl but in my heart I know that this is going to be my 4th boy
  • With our son my husband and I both "knew" it was a boy from the start. We both thought our second would be a boy too, but now that #2 is on the way we both highly suspect it's a girl since this pregnancy is TOTALLY different. At least we're always united hahaha
  • You would think that, but be prepared for it to not be true, haha. I'm two years older than my sister and we shared a room til I was 12- it was NOT easy on my mother. We fought like cats and dogs. I put a line down the middle of the room. We still don't like each other very much.

#-o. Well that just wont fit into my hypothetical stuation. I guess I just thought it would be easier than a boy and girl 2.5 years apart. Sigh
    My bro n I were 5 years apart...thats a stretch.
  • I'm thinking boy..... and the Chinese gender predictor said so ;)  We're team green though so it's going to be a long wait!

  • Check those percentages. About 50/50 boys and girls. Statistics are awesome, even if these are just guesses!

I shared a room with my sister until I was 10. We were 2 years apart. We fought a lot, but we always made up for it. We are close friends today and I love my sister to death.
