I know what you mean. I was ready to give up a couple months ago but DH didn't want to. Easy for him to say since he's not the one that does the laundry and stuffs the diapers!! But I stuck it out and we're still going strong. Hell, I even bought more just the other day

Pro Broccoli
I loved the post about ADHD. To clarify, I think it's over diagnosed and sometimes in children that are too young for the diagnosis. I believe some children are products of their parents environments and are never taught how to act properly. No boundaries, no discipline lead to unruly behaviors.
I too hate the Bachelor/Bachelorette and Big Brother which I actually used to enjoy.
Although I don't love the UO threads, I think it leads to a lot of debate and thankfully todays has stayed pretty civil for the most part. Healthy debate is fun! Frankly it's like an accident--can't help but look!

ah the Pink/blue thing is really stupid, and only been that way for about 60-70 years (since the 40's!) before that boys were pink - considered a "stronger colour" while girls were blue. Its was advertising that changed that!!! and before the 20's babies just wore white!!!!!!

Wow, I'm late to the party, but here goes...

1. I am pro-choice. I would never be able to terminate, but wouldn't stop someone else from doing so. I do hate it as a form of birth control though (and by this, I mean that I have a family member who, I was told, has had 5 abortions). She knows what causes pregnancy.

2. My third grade teacher tried to convince my parents that I had ADD and wanted to get me on medication. I was just bored in her class. I have told this to people before and had them go "What, you? Did she know you?" I do know people who legitimately have it, but I don't always think that medication is the only answer. I have a friend who has it. His Mom home schooled him for a year and they figured out how he learned and what he could do to make school work for him. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from college and has never taken medication.

3) Broccoli - I love me some broccoli.

4) Cloth Diapers - I use cloth diapers and I recommend them to others, that said, I have never and will never look down on someone who uses disposables.

5) Milk - I love a big glass of milk. I've tried other milks (almond, soy and coconut) and they just don't taste the same to me. I'll stick to my cows milk.

6) Spanking - I think it has its place. When my son gets older and knows better, and tried to run into the street, I might spank him. In my case, I was only spanked once as a child and I think there are other methods of discipline that work as well, if not better.

7) I am team green, because DH and I like finding out when the baby is born. I really loved having DH tell me that we have a son. I can't wait for that moment with this little one. I have never used the term "there are so few real surprises". I pretty much think, it's either a boy or a girl, so what's the surprise. If I give birth to a gorilla, then I will be surprised.

8) I have never, and will never, watch the Bachelor. I really don't see the draw.

9) If I have twins, they won't have matching names. I'm concerned about my kids having names that are too similar, would never do it on purpose. I might occasionally dress them in matching outfits for events and photos. I've also heard, from mothers of twins, that it can eliminate arguments about what they want to wear.

Belittle and treat people like they're the fat girl in room of supermodels- bitch. Not saying the behavior has to stop, b/c I'm over that. Just don't try to pretend you're innocent little darling telling the truth, you know what you're doing. What's the big deal in saying "yeah- I was being a filthy whore. So? You pissed me off." Id appreciate that way more than the endless oh "puppies and rainbows, I just tell the truth blah blah crap." You know what you're doing, just own it!

I was trying to reply to @maelic 's comment about being Team Green and that it will be a baby, it will eat & poop, etc., which seems about 8 years ago now, lol. As for the rest of the UOs, I'm just enjoying the debates.

FTR, I started the Puppies and Rainbows post and nobody called me out and I wasn't acting c-like. I just get tired of all the "why are people so mean" responses, even when I'm not the one provoking them. I just think if you are that sensitive, you probably shouldn't be on this BMB, and you sure as hell shouldn't participate in the UO thread.

I actually wasn't talking about that. This stemmed from one silly remark on the FB thread that just annoyed me.

And I don't think because I am not in your little "club" that it makes me a crazy. I really enjoy all the debates I just hate when people pretend and backtrack on their rudeness. You want to be rude- whatever floats your boat. Just don't try to pass it off as anything else. I don't see how that makes me crazy. Although I guess that's why I'm not in the club.

Yep and most of the time I dont even care what the FFFC or UO is but just the insane reactions after whats said. I could give a crap if I don't agree with someone.

Lets see.

I'm pro choice.

I'm pro spanking. I don't do it a lot but sometimes it's the only thing that works.

I want to know what the sex of my baby is so everything I get from friends/family/buy before the baby is born isn't green or yellow. Also I didn't want a gender neutral nursery. Now that I will have 3, 2 will share a room. I plan on buying them each new furniture in March and I will buy furniture based on who will share a room so one kid will get 2 twins and one a queen. I don't want to deal with setting up rooms when I have 2 toddlers and a NB.

My UO: I don't understand why people go to the same destinations over and over. A FB friend has flown to DW in FL 6 times this year already. And she goes like 10 times a year. I get once a year but that seems excessive and there are so many other things I would want to see.

I don't get that either! So many other places to see! Once a year I can see, but even that makes me want to say, BTDT.

I agree! We're trying to plan a vacation for next year and DH has suggested going to his families cabin in North Carolina. It is beautiful, and I loved it there, but I keep thinking that we should go somewhere we haven't been before.

I hate pregnant people blaming rudeness on "crazy hormones" or using hormones as an excuse for behaving badly. Be a grown up. Be accountable for your actions. Don't blame it on something that may or may not have anything to do with it.

I also dislike when people express strong opinions and get feisty on TB and are labelled as hormonal, as if they wouldn't be expressing a strong opinion if they weren't pregnant...?
