  • I thought pregnancy might change this, but nope, I still don't like chocolate...

    WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???

although ill add...I don't like pickles.
  • I put mayo on my hot dogs. This is not a pregnancy thing either...it's been happening since I was a kid
  • no @turtlemomma say it ain't so!  You can have my share of the chocolate!  And @stephw32 I'll take your pickles!  As long as they are dill, none of that bread and butter crap!

Hold on...you're giving her all the chocolate and taking my pickles!? This seems like I'm getting slighted! Lol

    Done! :D

    Too bad, Steph!

Poptarts should be a legit food group. I've been eating box after box this last week! Hot fudge sundae, oh how I love thee...

I'm pretty sure this isn't an UO...at least it's not in my house!

I do this to, grosses DH out!

Mine: I could never be a stay at home mom. Props to those who are. I love DS dearly but I can definitely see how taking care if him will start to feel more like a job than enjoyable. I always knew I'd need my own thing, now it's just confirmed.

Its the closest I could get to one, haha. Oops!! Maybe I just wanted an excuse to discuss Poptarts.... :)

  • Not sure if this is uo or not, but I really want dd to get here because I hate that I'm going to miss 6 weeks of work. We went to pay for performance so the longer I'm gone, the more work ill have to do when I get back.

I dont like people coming over to help by cleaning my house. Its my house, I will clean it! You may not unload my dishwasher, because you dont know where my dishes go, and you may not do my laundry because I'm positive you'll fo it wrong. Just bring some food, hold the baby, and leave. Kthx.

Yes! I am way too much of a control freak to let you clean my house. Even my DH says, just sit down and tell me what you need me to do. And I'm like, by the time I explain exactly how I want it done, I could just do it myself! Just take the baby and the toddler out of my hair and I'll get it all done. :)

  • @ELauren88 I hate when people try to "help" by putting my things in the wrong place. I spend more time hunting down lost stuff than it would have taken me to put it up myself.

My UO today......it might not be a UO really, but something I figured out. I don't want my inlaws to watch LO until she's old enough to talk.  MIL thinks she should have raised all children of the world and knows everything, and is already starting to bother me with her opinions. I'd much rather give her to my mom when we need a babysitter.

We do this! DH even says he wonders how he survived! My UO might be more of a FFFC. Last night DD kept waking up freaking out. I know her 2 year molars are coming in but she said her teeth didn't hurt. I gave her teething tablets anyway and told her they would make her all better. She rolled over and we didn't hear from her again til this morning. Not sure if it was her teeth or more of a placebo effect.

This is how I feel. Since she is already telling me as soon as we need a break she'll take LO for the weekend. Um no. You will never be taking my newborn anywhere thank you. She  got herself a car seat and everything. Hope she kept the receipt.

No flames, but I would be interested to hear if you still feel this way after she gets here :)

  • This is my first time I hope I don't get flamed. I am getting tired of pulling out my boobs. I gave up covering for friends (close friends). But my LO loves my boobs and won't take a bottle unless it comes from someone else. That said breast feeding is a difficult healthy task

No flames here. Bf is only starting to get better for me. I still hate that my nipples hurt and my plugged duct came back but i totally understand your frustration.

  • @soleil3 I'm sure it'll change. I just have anxiety about someone else teaching my students. I'm sure when dd is here, I'll have no time or want to worry about it!

As much as I love my MIL, after hearing stories of how she went against my BIL's wife's instructions when MIL babysat my nephew overnight when he was an infant (in 2008), I have no desire to allow that to happen to my LO. She thought it would be funny to give him peanut butter under 1 year. Really?!?!? She was given specific instructions to NOT give that!

UO - I was secretly hoping DH would've stayed out with his coworkers for drinks longer last night. Just wanted some evening time to myself. I'm more awake at night and can get more done and DH kind of dampers that sometimes. Love him lots, but sometimes nice to have that time to myself.

Wow! MIL! Just wow! This why I don't leave my LO with my mom yes my mom. Every time LO cries she thinks he has a tummy problem and insists on giving him tea. I know she would if I run to the store that's why I take LO everywhere

  • I have another one. I hate when people use facebook to push their beliefs down my throat. I dont care if its religion poltics or what ever.

I defriended a girl today because i was sick of seeing her parenting style propoganda.

Good for you you dont believe in spankings or raising your voice to your child. I disagree and hate having your parenting beliefs all over my facebook.

I dont know if this is actually a uo but it pisses me off

  • Stephw32 I hate pickles too. I think it's honestly more of the fact that they are slimy because I don't mind the taste too much. Also (I guess this could be UO, especially since I live in the south) I HATE tomatoes.

  • I hate pickles, and I'm not a huge chocolate fan. I have been known to throw out Easter eggs or other chocolate because I often don't get around to eating it and it goes off. Drives my husband nuts but I always hang onto it until then because when I want some, I will REALLY want some so he better not eat my stash.

Me either! I can't tell you the looks and reactions I get when I tell people this and they were worse while pregnant

I LOATHE ketchup. Haven't eaten it in years. Just recently started eating tomatoes, but only if they're more just chunks in my pasta sauce or something like that. And then I smother it with cheese, so I can't taste it anyways.

    I love cheese.

    I hate pop tarts!

You. Out. Now. You need medical attention or therapy or something.
    Married DH <3 : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat)
DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18
FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!

  • I hate alcohol and coffee.

How do you even survive life?
  • LO's movements officially creep me out now that they're no longer a little kicks. It's so weird to see my entire stomach do the wave or to be able to follow the bulge of a knee or a foot as he stretches. Also, yes to chocolate, pop tarts, booze and coffee. Actually, I'm thinking all four of those things could combine into something magical....
