The other day my mom suggested that I think of some things I want to do without a baby and without needing a sitter and do them in the next 13 weeks.
Hmmm... So far I've come up with going to the movies and maybe a concert at a dive bar downtown.
What's on you pre-baby bucket list?
Re: What to do before baby?
But with our first, we ent to the movies, hung out late with friends, and went out to dinner.
I think I miss movies the most. It's hard to justify the expense now.

Have you told your optometrist you are pregnant? Many wont do appts if you are pregnant because your prescription may change while you are pregnant.

This is me too! I haven't cut my hair in almost a year. It is getting horrid. Guess I shall add that to my to do list. Maybe I'll make a day of it and get my toes done too!

Baby #3 due in Sept
Mine was fine with it but said she wouldn't make any major changes if they were needed, they were not. However she did a yearly exam and gave me some contacts. I imagine if there is a drastic change you'd want to get in to make sure you could see for the rest of your pregnancy but probably shouldn't invest in $1000 glasses right now
I'd say get your hair done a week or two before your due date and treat yourself to a few pedis between now and then. Also any shopping (holiday or otherwise) that you can get out of the way now would be a good idea.
Oh and enjoy taking a bath and going to the bathroom alone.

A lot more date nights, a few more pedis (it's getting difficult to paint my own toes now anyway!), and get my hair done.
I'm soaking up being able to go out to eat or to the movies with my husband right now because I know that will be few and far between once the baby comes.
If LO hasn't arrived and I'm feeling up to it, our anniversary is 10/21 and we're going out for a very nice dinner and Broadway show.

Along the lines with stuff going on down there, pray that you poop while pushing, I promise you, your first PP poop will be very scary if you have stitches and rhoids.

I went camping two weekends ago at 25 weeks pregnant. In many ways it's was a great weekend away with my husband and family. What I did not appreciate was the limited capacity of my bladder and the numerous hikes to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Of course we were tent camping. After that I decided no more camping while pregnant.
It would be different if we were trailer camping and had a bathroom with us.

I was going to say this!
I miss alone time in general. I do even leave the door open when I use the bathroom otherwise I will end up with a toddler crying and banging on the door, even if my DH is at home.
I also miss movies. I believe DH and I have been to two movies in the last two years, it is just so much easier to rent and stay home.
The thing I miss the most is sleeping in. I knew I would be sleep deprived at first, but didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to sleep in for years. My DH and I end up taking turns on the weekends, but it isn't the same. We still end up waking up when DD gets up and I never seem to go back to a deep sleep.
I will miss long walks with my dogs. I typically like to take them for at least a mile walk through the neighborhood at night, but that won't be happening with a newborn in the winter.
I would also second sleep, long showers, and more sleep!
This. I have a dental cleaning in September, mani/pedi this weekend (plus a few more before LO arrives), and I have been buying Xmas gifts for a month now. I even managed to wrap a couple yesterday with DS. We are kind of doing things backwards and are laying low until next fall when we go to Europe to visit my BFF. We just bought a new 3 row Nissan Pathfinder, and Pre-K this year is $800/month (ouch!), so our expenses are high at the moment.
I want to get my car professionally cleaned. It always seemed like a waste of money before since DD and my Lab get it pretty messy but I want it celaned up before I put another car seat in it.
