Cheapest place to buy formula?

Has anyone already researched this? We use Enfamil Newborn (but are okay with Infant), and the coupon stash is running low - I was going to comparison shop online, but wondered if anyone had already done this?

  • I never get them via email?! I only get the paper ones in the mail... I'm going to do that, though! I had my mom sign up, but she put in that she was a grandparent; should she have said parent? I dont think she's gotten any in the mail, even...

  • I found the cheapest at B.J.s. and you can use coupons there.  I bet other warehouse stores have it, too. The regular price seems to be about the same in retail stores, unless someone is running a sale.

  • I get mine from Amazon thru Subscribe and Save (the free version). I get 5 cans delivered monthly and that gives me a 15% discount and free delivery.

  • BJ's was the best price I found for formula. And once the checks ran out we switched to the store brand.

  • When we were deciding what brand worked best for us, by far the two cheapest were Up & Up at Target (they have a specific Enfamil premium) and Costco.  The Up & Up one, I'm assuming is like most "off brand" products and produced at the same facility as the regular Enfamil.

We've been using Costco for probably 10 weeks now and he's been doing fine.  Here it's only $16 something for a can that lasts him a week.  When I was using Enfamil, I feel like he went through two of those cans a week because they were so much smaller.

  • Unfortunately, we had issues with the generic Enfamil we tried... I'm all for generics and assumed it would be the same, but the smell and texture were different, and it made him super gassy. We did manage to grab a few small sample cans at the pedi, and we don't have BJs here but I think I will sign up for more coupons and hunt online for more printable ones, too. I know Costco has it but I'm not positive they'll take the coupons

  • I use sams generic gentlease. It does have a different texture than the name brand but it works well and is half the price.
