Introduction...Seems I belong here now...

Hi everyone,

I am a 22 y/o expecting my first child in November. I am currently married but in the process of getting a divorce after being married only a year and a half. Things seem like they were not meant to be and I figure I should introduce myself since I will be hanging out here for a while! I hope I can learn from others and how you all manage to be single parents!

    It'll be okay. It's honestly pretty hard to tell when you first get married if things will work out. At least you're getting a sweet little one from the experience!

    Sorry to hear about the divorce, but welcome!  Hope we can be a good support system for you :) the best thing to do is learn what your options are. Does he want visitation/custody or is he wanting to be out of the picture completely? Are you able to financially support yourself and the little one?  Of course, you can just post a question and someone will answer.

    I am sorry for what you are going through. I just turned 23 and I am also expecting my first child, due in a couple weeks. I am also getting divorced after being together only a year and a half. Sounds like we have a lot in common. I am here if you ever want to talk!
