When did you get DS's hair cut?

I haven't gotten it cut yet but it's getting long. Like in his ears and over his eyes long. I just know as soon as I cut it, he won't look like a baby anymore, he'll look like a big kid. Maybe this is why I have never taken DD to get her hair cut! Anyway, when did you do it?

Our son had his first hair cut just before 6 months. It was getting to be over his eyes, and it was stringy and messy all the time and he was balding on the sides. It was just a mess! Not only that but he was born with dark brown hair and it started to grow in blonde after he was born. So it was half brown and half blonde. Every body told me not to cut it, that we would regret doing so, but I am so glad I did. And he still looked very much like a baby.

Mine is over 10 months and still looks bald from a distance lol. I feel like his first haircut won't come for a very long time.

Last Saturday. One week before his 1st birthday. He really needed it, but I was waiting until he was one (or almost one). I went to a kids place called Pigtails and Crewcuts. It was awesome! No tears. Cool "chairs" for them to sit in. They gave me a picture and a lock of his hair.

DS didn't have much hair until he was 1 but it suddenly grew quickly and into a mullet so we just cut the back and a little around the ears at 15 months old. Since then it has always grown quickly. We have never kept his hair very short but we usually cut it every 8 weeks to keep it out of his eyes. DD has more hair than DS did but I don't plan on cutting hers unless it starts growing funny like DS's did. So if it just grows evenly we will wait until she's 2-3 years old to trim it.

DS didn't have a lot of hair, and it wasn't falling in his eyes, so we went right after his first birthday. DD has even less, so I think it will be awhile before she needs a trim.

With DS1 we did it right before his 1st birthday. We probably could have gone in a few months sooner, but I wanted to keep that baby look longer.

DS2 on the other hand still looks bald from a distance. He's got really fine blonde hair. It will be a while before he needs a cut!

Our son is turning one within a month and is started to look rough, we want him clean cut and neat before his first birthday party! Finger's crossed his first haircut goes well!

We just did our first haircut today! And our DS is 10 months. It went great and he looks so much better. Highly recommend it. No need to wait til a year old:)

DS just turned 1 and we still haven't had to cut his hair. It's curly so it's not in his eyes at all.

DS had his first hair cut around 4 months. When he was born he had a ton of hair and a mullet lol. He just turned 9 months yesterday and has had a total of 3 haircuts.
