Chicco Lightweight Plus Stroller?

Anyone have any experience with the Chicco Lightweight Plus stroller? I like the fact that is it light weight, and I can use it with the infant car seat (Chicco KeyFit 30), and then as a stroller.  My other option is to get a Snap N Go and then the City Mini Stroller. We live in a townhouse with no garage so I want something lightweight that doesn't take up too much space :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I was just looking at this stroller in the store the other day since I decided to get the keyfit 30 carseat.

It is comparable in size and movement to the Britax b-agile but I decided I didn't like it's infant carseat compatibility function. In order to use the carseat with the stroller, you have to unzip the stroller seat from the canopy and fold it down flat. I realized this would be a huge pain in the a$$ if you decided to not use the carseat one day. I could just picture myself keeping it in the car unzipped/folded down so I could snap and go, but then one day baby girl would be wide awake, happy and alert and I would want to just take her out of the carseat and sit her in the stroller and not have to deal with the bulk of the combo. But then in a parking lot i'd have to fiddle with getting the canopy zipped, seat lifted, etc. And then if you're at the house and want to go for a walk, you'd be in the same situation of needing the seat a certain way.

I am getting the Britax b-agile stroller and the carseat adaptor frame. It just pops in and out with a snap, and the seat and canopy remain intact. It seemed infinitely easier to me, and the carseat adaptor frame is the same price (or even cheaper) than a snap and go buggy stroller thing - and much less storage space.

  • I have the regular Chicco liteway and I really love it. It's light weight, steers easily, and folds down compactly. That being said, I haven't examined the features of the liteway plus so I have no idea how well it works as a travel system.
