    This is definitely a UO around here, especially with you ragin, but I really like Kathy Lee and Hoda. They are fun!
    AAAAHHHHHHHHHH NO! LOL They remind me of old ragged cougars, and the 9 am wine thing omg..their poor livers. I just can't. Especially when Hoda tries to dance and sing...

  • IDGAF about a Nsync reunion. I loved then when I was13 but just nms now.

    I don't like the extreme ombre hair colors. I like the subtle ones, but not dark brown fading to super light blonde

    I LOVE everything about Fall, football, RAIN, cool weather, mud puddles etcs.,

    & I'm not a fan of super hot weather (which in WA is 80+)

    I have to agree with this, even though I was obsessed with NKOTB from age 9-12. Other than that...nada!

  • @KarmB I don't think you can really consider the Beatles a "boy band". And of course everyone but them blows...they're the freaking Beatles!! :)

    @breezyblueyez I'm with you on fall! Football...jeans and sweatshirts...chili...leaves changing colors...fires....love it!!!

  • MM Agreed. We just have to chill. Just relax. Things will blow over. also, i just sent your package.

  • My UO which is probably more of a vent than a UO.... people who don't blow their nose and just keep sniffing constantly.  Hello!!!!  That's what Kleenex is for!  No one wants to hear you sniffing your buggers all day from all the way down the hall.
    Agreed times a thousand!!!!
    My daughter does this, drives me batty! Just go blow your nose already!

  • Sure the Beatles were a boy band! they were the very first....then something happened in the 70s and 80s, possibly drugs that prevented other future boy bands in actually sounding good or even attempting to write their own songs.

    Karm, that's not an UO, those are the wisest words you've ever spoken!  Kudos!
    Well you never would have known with all the Boyband shit that goes on this board. *barf* I remember when I was little I HATED NKOTB soooo much I took my friends toy stage and one of her dolls and kicked it down the stairs.

    image

  • I think the NKOTB thing is generational. They were my version of Nsync, they started when I was graduating high school.

    Have we had some s***** occurrences lately? Yes. A little more patience and a little less rioting go a long way in figuring out what is going on and how to fix it. Patience please.

    I absolutely agree with this.    And furthermore, I think more people creating MORE AEs is absolutely the wrong way to handle it.

    One of my main complaints about the facebook groups was that they led to outside conversations and AE-creation that then trailed back here.   And while the new FB group is a larger numbers, it's still the same thing.  And it's still not cool as far as I'm concerned.

    I do agree that The Beatles were kind of the first boy band but I would never put them in the same category. I take boy bands for what they are- cute faces and hot asses singing shallow songs, but damn they are catchy. Would I say it's great music? No, but it's fun to listen to sometimes.

    Yeah I guess along the lines of what JFresh said I see boy bands as cute boy pop groups generating shallow but catchy hits. Whereas to me The Beatles are amazing musicians. Of course they are all boys and a band and they had the crazy girl following but they actually wrote and performed meaningful music. So based on what I view a boy band to be, they aren't one.

    Me either. But they were also popular before my time. I like NSync but I was in middle school & high school when all that TRL, Britney and big band stuff hit in the late 90s.

  • Burger King coffee is amazing

  • I hate the beetles, and Michael Jackson, and prince oh and Elvis..I don't care for any of their music. Give me some good old Led Zep, Aerosmith, ACDC, Poison, 38 Special an every other 70/80's hair band anyday :)

    Also I think posting on people's GCBC thread just fuels their fire and drama, if they want to leave then let them leave, why you need an "exit" post is beyond me, besides being an AW

    Marry me?!

    Also, I don't care for Saved by the Bell.

    Yeah I'm right there with you @jfresh . I was 6 in 1994 so I definitely never got into NKOTB.

    @jennMM

    I agree with everything you said in your post regarding how parents need to teach their kids to respect animals. Just yesterday Ava was playing on our bed in the morning and one of our dogs jumped up. He loves her but she got to close to him all of a sudden and she scared him so he growled. It was our fault for letting her ambush him like that but we scolded him for growling and made him leave the room anyway.

    I think there is a difference between having an aggressive animal and one that growls/bites when scared. None of our dogs are aggressive but I bet any of them would bite out of fear if the situation arose. Would I rehome them for that? Hell no. We need to make sure we watch Ava around them at all times so that situation doesn't happen.

    If we had an aggressive animal, would we rehome? Yes of course we would, in a second.

    Maybe, but I don't think so. I like a coffee that puts hair on my chest.

    Interesting fact:  The lighter roast coffees actually have more caffeine.  The dark roast ones that are super bold and taste like kerosene are the weakest.

    My UO:  I think a lot of celebrities are very plain looking (Gwyneth Paltrow, Dakota Fanning, R-Pats).  I also think that Jennifer Anniston is a butter face for sure...something about her chin.

    Jennifer Anniston is fugly. Totes a butter face.
