Evening ladies...tried to go to bed...and cannot sleep....Was having good contractions earlier today...has since totally stalled....So here I sit...super itchy...unable to sleep, and getting a headache...and starting to worry about my BP again..
I'm up. Playing the waiting game on Mr Moon.
I also had a talk with my (inside) little one about coming out to meet us.
And... (This is sad!) I can't stop thinking about a duck we ran over today. He was in the road with his friend and neither H nor I saw him until it was too late. I hate that it happened and its weighing on me :-/
Feeding number #1 for me just got done. Now burping then it's back to bed. I feel like a total zombie lately. At least I know I'm not the only sleepless mamma out there. Have a good rest of the night ladies!
Just finished pumping after the midnight feeding. LO is taking in more by nursing so hopefully we are getting closer and closer to getting out of the NICU. Thinking of those of you with inside babies. You must be looking forward to not being pregnant and being able to move around freely.

Up again for another feeding. LO actually slept almost 2 hours so I am somewhat happy. Best night so far. I offered the first side, changed his dope and now the second side. He is lazy nursing now so on his way back to sleep hopefully.
First feeding of the night at 3:30. I left dh give him a bottle around 11:30 and he lasted this long. I had to sleep since I got about 2 hrs sleep last night.
Been having contractions that are 5-6 minutes apart for the last 2.5 hours. Now the comfort level is going down, but I really don't know how long I can stay at home since I've only had pitocin contractions before... :-/ yikes
Even though I can't sleep happy to know I'm done with work for three months! After my day in the hospital yesterday due to nausea and vomiting I decided to start my leave a little early. Now we just have to convince this little girl to get here!
Feeding #1, but I haven't been to bed yet. So.very.tired
I'm pretty sure one of my boys has reflux. He screams non stop, pushes out his legs really stiff, spits up a ton, won't lay flat on his back, etc.
I thought it might be milk protein allergy bc he's super rashy on his face and bum and sounds slightly congested all the time.
Anyone with experience in those two areas? He's a 34weeker and we EBF.
Sounds like bad reflux to me. Take him in for a same-day visit to the pedi tomorrow. And get a RnP for him.
Yeah, I'm becoming more convinced its reflux > milk protein allergy. He does sleep in an RnP and will actually sleep in most of the time. He prefers my chest during the day, haha.

It is supposed to be exceedingly rare for lo to be allergic to breast milk. Common to have formula allergies.
You might look at what you are eating. I ate a garlic heavy meal and lo had gas that night. We ebf also.
I've cut out dairy (including hidden dairy) for about the past week to minimal rashy improvement.
My first didnt tolerate coffee and Indian food, how random is that? I haven't noticed a particular pattern of foods but it would awesome if I could eat cheese again.
Still at the hospital..LOs 2nd night with us..she has the days and nights mixed up...once it hits 10pm she just wants to sit on my boob. Fml. I am already exhausted
I got 2 hours! Only because dh grabbed him when he started fussing and took him away and bounced him for half an hour.. But still!! Now I've been nursing for an hour and every time I put him down he cries.

LO decided it was time to eat again. He had such a lazy, sleepy day yesterday I'm shocked he's sleeping tonight. He's nursing like a champ though! @TurtleMomma as always I think you're ridiculously awesome. What are you playing on the gameboy?
Now that LO is here.. I feel like I have a million random questions that I'm sure were already discussed on here and I can't figure out how to search this board on a mobile? Any advice? I'm trying to avoid starting a new thread if they're already out there..
Up again for feeding number two. I'm exhausted, especially since this last week LO has been sleeping through the night well from 8pm to 4am. Guess she is going through a grow spurt since all she's wanted to do these few days is eat eat eat.

Im mobile too. Do you have a magnifying glass at the top of the thread? Its next to the menue button. Try that
Contractions getting stronger and making it almost impossible to sleep. Called doula to let her know. Hoping things progress nicely and we get to meet baby girl soon!
Finishing up feeding number 2.. She slept 4.5 hours! Probably exhausted from crying non stop and eating every hour from 7-11. I do also find the nights I give her a bath she does better

For some reason I every time I search that, it only searches The Knot lol? I'm thinking something might be wrong with my settings but haven't been able to find it yet. Thank you :-)

Nope, Same over here..
Nah there haven't been a ton of threads post delivery. Or the ones that are related to pp are buried within several birth announcements. I say ask away !
Lo, why oh why do you decide its finally ok to sleep 10 minutes before daddy's alarm goes off? This means mommy isn't getting back to sleep for over am hour.
Up again feeding. Made dh change his diapey and felt so guilty when dh unwrapped his fuzzy halo sleepsack to find his onesie all wet. I hadn't checked him in awhile, just fed him, so I have no idea how long he was wet for
