Feeding on demand question

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
DS is EBF and we feed on demand. I've noticed him not seeming to eat as much in morning / day. Yesterday and today he fed from 1 breast first thing 9 am (after 9 hours of sleeping) and then goes another 4-5 hours without eating. Should I be concerned or making him eat?

    Our LO's are very close in age and my DD sometimes will go 4 or 5 hours after her morning feed. She tends to make up for it when she finally decides to eat. She is also EBF.

    Mine is doing the same! I'm thinking a lot has to do with how distracted he gets when nursing now, but I'm not too worried. They get more efficient at eating at this age so it takes less time and he seems satisfied.

    Just keep offering the breast. It might be a nursing strike. It will pass

    Mine is doing something similar. I think its partly because they are more efficient nursers and also to distracted by their new skills. A long as your baby is still wetting diapers you're good.
