I'm back! :)

Hey laides!

I took a break from TB for probably 6 months or so but I want to come back! I was so overwhelmed with trying to keep up with all the posts, and I felt like I was constantly checking my phone for updates on posts, etc... and ignoring my child at times, my husband, etc... I needed to stop for a while. I wish I'd come back sooner but anywho.... now I'm gonna try to keep a good balance and stay in touch without letting this take over my lyfe.

Here's a little update on us:

Rowan turned one on July 28th and is 28.5 inches and almost 20lbs now. He has 4 upper teeth and 2 bottom teeth, with more coming in it seems, though I can't figure out which ones, he's just gnawing on his hands and toys and being a holy terror for no apparent reason. Haha.

We had his birthday party at a park, it was Dr. Seuss themed and we had a lot of fun. I made deviled eggs with avocado for the "green eggs" and some ham rolls (cream cheese, black olive and green onion wrapped up in ham slices) and both were a hit! The pic in this post is of Rowan playing with a toy after the party, in his Dr. Seuss shirt. He had red shorts to go with it.

We've been living with my mom since January because we were trying to buy a condo and wanted to save up some more money while we were looking. However, with the recent spike in prices and interest rates going up, we decided it just isn't the right time to buy. It's been nice living here, especially having some extra help with Rowan while he was younger, but it's time we get out! We're sooooo excited to be moving in about a month, to rent a nice 2 bedroom condo where Rowan will finally have his own room.

I guess that's about it, just wanted to give a little update and say hello, it's good to be back!

Haha! I've been wanting to do one since Saturday night but it's been a crazy weekend, I finally made the time to do it just now, to thwart any callouts :-p
