Cold meds?

I'm not EBFing, and LO gets only a piddly amount of BM from me. That said... what kind of cold meds can I take? I can call the pharmacy? the pediatrician? the ob? I don't know WHO, really... I haven't needed meds since LO was born. I'm popping cough drops like candy but they're not doing a darn thing (and crud - I hope those aren't going to cause a problem. I didnt even think about that.)

I remember coming across this when I was nursing DD a few years ago. The last column will give you the safety level L1-L5 (L1 safest) of various meds.
