EWCM or Watery?

Ok, so you would think I would know the answer to this b/c I have been charting for awhile now, BUT since my CM is so non-existent lately, I'm being thrown for a loop.  I went to the bathroom and saw what looked like EWCM on the TP.  Touched it and it stretched almost an inch before breaking. Very clear, very slippery, but also very thin.  So I then checked myself expecting more EW....however, on my fingers was a bunch of clear, slippery, non-stretchy, watery looking CM. WTH?  Does the first CM even count as EW?  TIA for listening to my CM woes!


BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!

    Also to answer your question I would go by what was on the tp first. Good luck!

    That would be confusing. It's possible to have a mix of watery and ewcm, so you should go with the most fertile cm of the day.

    Eta: the way I tell the difference between the two is that ewcm will stretch and watery won't.

    I agree with PPs and FF says to record your *most fertile cm* so go with EWCM!
