XP: BFP mentioned

Today is 11 DPIUI and this is the first day that I actually believe that I am pregnant. I started getting positive tests at 7 DPIUI but I used every excuse in the book to talk myself out of believing them. Plus, the tests were all after the time limit. After getting home from a 12 hour night shift on 7 DPIUI, I peed on a stick to test out the trigger and went to bed. Eight hours later, I looked at the test and said, "Well, that's not right." The line was darker than the almost invisible trigger at from day 6. Since then, I've tested every day and the lines started showing before the time limit on 10DPIUI.

HOW I TOLD DH:

Well, I kinda didn't. He asked me. So I had to fess up. On 9 DPIUI, he looked at my line of trigger sticks on the toilet and asked what they meant. I explained about how a trigger fades and how if it gets darker it's a BFP. He said, "Why is this one darker?" I said, "Because it could be..." and I proceeded to explain every situation about why it was not a real BFP. Since then, every morning, he has asked if I took another test. This morning at 4 a.m., he got up after I did to find out what this morning's test said.

Him: Are you going to the Dr today?

Me: Yes.

Him: What did today's test say?

Me: It says I am pregnant.

We hugged and he said, "Thank God" and then in classic DH fashion, he said, "Have you told the father yet?"

We're classy like that.

WHAT WE DID: This was our last cycle before declaring financial IF and stopping treatments to save for the future. We did Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F 75 IU, Menopur, trigger and IUI. Post wash was 49 million. Progesterone gel Crinone 8% started 2 DPIUI. We hit 3-0, 2-0, IUI/O.

EDD is April 28, 2014.

Beta was 76 and progesterone was 27.3. I go back Monday for another beta and then my first scan will be sometime in the next couple weeks. I will be on progesterone through the first tri.
