What do you think of Zoe?  Is it too little girl-ish or will it grow?  The only adult Zoe I can think of is Zoe Deschanel.

My mom and Gram suggested this name and I like it but I'm having a hard time with it...

My three other children are Keagan, Norah, and Cameron.

    I like Zoe a lot but I don't think it meshes well with the other 3 names. I do think Zoe could age ok but not as well as the other 3 you selected. Perhaps as a middle name?

    I was thinking that too.  I tried to stay away from "ee" ending because I'm Lindsay.  My name just doesn't sound professional to me.  MN will be Susan for my Mom/MIL or Lily which is the meaning of Susan (depending on the first name).

    I like Zoe, but I personally like Zooey (Like the way Zooey Deschanel spells it--and I know a lot of peole don't like that). Maybe even Zoey. I feel that the (totally legitimate) Y completes the name.

    I like Zoey and I think it works well for an adult.  It is a common Greek name (spelled Zoe without the y) meaning "life."

    D & L are here at 34 weeks 4 days by vaginal and breech delivery on 11/19/2013
    Two healthy boys weighing 4 lbs 15 ozs and 4 lbs 5 ozs.  Only 6 days in the NICU and getting bigger, stronger and cuter every day!

    I like Zoey spelled this way. It's always looked like Zo the other way.

    It's NMS personally, but it's a legitimate, correctly-spelled, old name with a great meaning. It's a biblical name, so I wouldn't worry about aging. If it's been used for the past 2,000+ years, it's going to age just fine,

    I can only think of the little orange Sesame Street monster when I hear this name, but perhaps it's because my toddler is obsessed with all things Sesame Street.

    I want to like Zoe, but I just don't. I don't hate it; I'm just indifferent. Nothing wrong with it, just NMS.

    I am not a fan of Zoe, I have a hard time picturing a women vs. a little girl and I know of four girls named Zoe under the age of 5.. But it's not a terrible name!

    I'm an adult Zoe and I approve of this name choice! Only that spelling though as its the correct Greek spelling (well, Zoe or Zoi, which I don't prefer). Please don't add any superfluous Ys. Major pet peeve of mine!
