I'll be honest this is totally in an effort to make me feel better for the judgy looks and comment I got today with my belly and Starbucks chai latte. I'm also curious too as my habits this time around a bit more lax[sp?] than last time!

Most OBs say caffeine is fine under 200mg a day.
Starbucks Latte (12oz) - 75mg
Red Bull/Monster (8oz) - 80mg
Mt. Dew (12oz) - 50 mg
Other soda (12oz) - 30-40mg
Starbucks will make your drink decaf or half-calf if you're worried about it. Or if someone says something, lie and say its decaf to avoid the conversation.

I'm confused with people being told NOT to drink caffeine at all. Are your doctors telling you that? From what I have read, it's on the list to be limited, not cut out completely.

At least one cup of coffee every morning. Two if I'm really tired.
My OB has ok'ed it. I have a full-time job, pregnancy insomnia and a three-year old who still doesn't sleep through the night on a regular basis. Anyone who wants to judge me in line at Starbucks can f**k right off.

My doctor said no caffeine 1st trimester so I didn't have any. She approved 1 small cup/day thereafter, and I promptly started drinking coffee again on 13 weeks and 3 days!

Mommy of four munchkins!
Seriously tho, my first pregnancy I just didn't really feel like I needed it, but this time around it has been much harder to avoid so I just quit fighting it and am sure to stay under the 200 mg a day.
On a random note, I still remember one of my classmates freaking out when I was drinking a large cup of hot cocoa from the on-campus coffee shop, yelling that I was going to give my kid a cleft pallet...fun times there.
