GTKY: What do you do for a living?

I'm a nurse in central PA. I work as a float nurse in a medium sized hospital. I go to all the different floors except for maternity. I don't know anything about giving birth!

I have a bunch of jobs since leaving the 9-5 world 2.5 years ago. I started my own pet sitting/dog walking business, I teach yoga, pilates, and barre classes at a local health club, and I'm a beachbody coach. I love what I do and it keeps me really active. So far LO has been cooperating and I hope to keep going after LO is here and just bring him/her along.

I have been a SAHM for about six months to my very energetic 2 yo DS. I made the switch as we moved to a new area so it's been a big transition. Prior to this I was a technician supervisor for a contract pharmaceutical research company. I loved my job and I'm a workaholic at heart so I really miss it. I just try to keep busy with DS and I'm sure once I meet a few more people (and get distracted with a new LO) I'll get better at this SAHM thing. I also started my own Mary Kay business to keep me busy and to meet more people.

Wow - I read all of the pp! You guys are an impressive bunch!

I'm still a Kindergarten teacher (I may have mentioned that in a few posts)

I have a lot of fun at my job. I get to sing, dance, and never have to count past 100! It's great to think about the really hard stuff - like what stickers to give out and who else I haven't hugged yet. Seriously - the best part is teaching them how to read and how to be good to each other. I'll be staying home for a few years after LO comes to finish up making babies. I know it's just hormones, but as I set up my classroom this past week, I kept getting all teary-eyed thinking about how it could be the last time I do that for a few years.

I'm a mom of 2, 5&3yro boys, I work full time at a rec center doing program planning for youth, sports and special events! It's tons of fun! I also work for two different direct selling companies just for fun, and have an etsy shop where I make cute crochet stuff for babies, kids and adults!! I love being busy but think this 3rd one might sideline some of my "free time"! Lol!

I am the head baker and owner of a Gourmet Bread company. I bake over 500 loaves a week to local customers and we ship nationally...and then get home and have no energy to cook for my family, hopefully that will change in 2nd Trimester.

Welcome! You are free to comment on whatever you'd like. My suggestion would be to make a separate post to introduce yourself, and then spend a little time reading different posts on this board and other boards.

One more suggestion, and you don't have to take it, you may want to think about changing your screen name to something a little more anonymous. If that is your full name, someone may be able to figure out your personal information based on what you post here. The ladies here are great, but you can never be too sure about who's behind a keyboard.

I'm the international head of client services for a software company. The best part of my job is getting to work with both tech and business folks. I love seeing how different people's minds work, and solve problems. The client relationships can be interesting, too.
