I am in the navy. I work in healthcare. I LOVE my job. Before I joined the navy I was the compliance officer for a large health system. Took a pay cut to join. I spent 1.5 years not working and I was so miserable. I am not meant to stay home. I love working and as long as I love it I will do it.

I am a Key Accounts Manager/ Inside Sales for a wholesale company. Most of our business (drop ship) is Ecommerce, with some brick and mortar. I'm in charge of the customer service, marketing, invoicing, and shipping departments. Every Saturday I go back to my college days of serving at a steakhouse. The $ is too dang good for me to say good-bye just yet, but now being pregnant, lets see how 6 days of work can last . . . .
I am a SAHM during the day, and at nights I go to school for Visual and graphic Design! I love art and computers and hope to do freelance work as well as design scrapbooking paper for fun! hopefully I can work from home! I love my DD and hate not being with her!
I wear a lot of hats, but the short version is that I'm the one-person web and social media communications department for a university. (I have a part-time student that helps).

I am VERY impressed that you're managing to do that job during first tri. I can't even be in the same area as food cooking on some days.

I went to college to teach English grades 7-12. However, I absolutely HATED student teaching. I had a nightmare experience and I can never see myself teaching. My license has since expired so even if I wanted to, I'd have to go back to college for additional credit hours. So, I'm in a rut. As of now, I work part time as a bank teller...not my dream job. It's not a horrible job, just not what I imagined myself doing. I've been at the bank for just over three years. It was originally supposed to be a summer job... I'd really like to get out of here and do something different, but the problem is is that I have no idea what I should do. I'm seriously in a terrible career rut. Ugh!
I'm a pharmacist. Currently working retail and hating it. After the baby comes I'm hoping to find a new career path, ideally hospital or federal prison.
I am getting my masters in speech path. Before I went back to school I was PR director at a Fortune 500 insurance company. I had been in pr for about 10 years and it was just not making me happy. And working in insurance was totally not my thing. I will graduate in May and am so excited to start my second career! And for us to have a second paycheck - my husband always reminds me that I have very expensive taste for a grad student
Due 3.27.14 (lame because I cannot figure out how to save a fun ticker.....)
I just finished my 3 yr Masters of Social Work program in May! I am a School Social Worker at a Non-public special education school for students with educational, mental health/emotional and behavioral disorders. I provide individual and group counseling to students. I love what I do!
Right now I'm an Intern Architect working in a little firm, but once our little critter comes I'm going to be a SAHM. I may still do some freelance stuff once they get bigger, but I'm looking forward to being primarily a mommy
Marketing specialist for a 25+ location optometry group. I basically do all the advertising and I host events at locations.. So a party planner of sorts.
I stay at home with the four now but also work short hours and from home for our family practice, billing, payroll and management. I worked surgical pediatrics before number 3.
I'm in Jewish Education and work at the synagogue I grew up attending, but I only go in a few days a week. I also manage one of our two businesses (it is less than 10 hours a week of work and I LOVE it), and take care of my hubby when he's not deployed.

I have a degree in criminal justice! Love the field! I should have taken an internship while in school. I was working full time and going to school full time. There was no time to have an internship that didn't pay the bills. I searched for a job in my field, it's nearly impossible with out some sort of experience.
I'm a stay at home (soon to be) mother, which is a major blessing because there is no way I'd be able to leave the house everyday with how difficult this pregnancy has been so far!

@lucylove619 I worked in PR before switching to speech path! You'll love the change! What setting do you plan on working in?

I am an Intern Architect.... Almost a full Architect. Baby first , then exams! I work at a firm in Ontario that specializes in sustainable design. Nice to meet you all:)
I teach middle school special education. This year is my first year having girls in my room, so that will be an interesting change! My program is a Dual-Diagnosis classroom for students with an emotional impairment and comorbid cognitive impairment. It is an adventure! I also am a varsity dance team coach and work summers as a cheerleader/dancer for an MLB team. I anticipate leaving my cheer/dance job when I start showing
Such wonderful diverse experiences, life paths, and adventures of all of us on here!! You go you awesome women you!! What each of you does is so important no matter what it is. Don't ever doubt that!
I'm currently a pharmacist but previously had been a social worker. It was such a tough job. I salute all the social workers on here!!
I was a double major in college with photography and education, I meant to teach for at least 5 years and build up a photography business. I ended up leaving teaching after my first full year, I liked it but my business had already grown to a point where it made sense to do it full time.
Now I'm able to schedule work around the kids (mostly) which is great. I mainly shoot weddings and portraits but I have a few great corporate clients as well.
I'm an administrator at a school for students with autism. I'm licensed in special Ed and will hopefully leave my current school and do part time once baby is born.
I am a department manager/project manager at a prescription advocacy company. We help people without insurance coverage enroll in patient assistance programs so they can get their meds for free.
