Nothing new with me. Still waiting for cd1 (although I'm only cd15) so I can get my WTFseptum surgery scheduled. I've been having all signs related to O, which makes me very happy. O usually happens around cd22, but the 2 prior were cd19 and cd17. Sooo, I'm hoping O happens soon so CD1 will hurry up and get here

:-B Geeky Fact: I was a total band geek in HS. I originally played the trumpet, but took piano lessons outside of school. When I got to HS my band instructor moved me to the keyboard and I also learned to play the xylophone, cymbals and timpani's. I was in marching band/band (small school) and jazz band. As a freshman I played the piano for our school musical, Grease! Grease Lightening was one hellacious hard song to play, it's sooo fast!

Thanks KMW08. I am back, unfortunately I only made it to 5w5d this time before I MC. It's been a tough week, and this one is definitely hitting me harder.

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow and I am going to pushing hard for some testing as this is my second MC in 3.5 months.

Edit: forgot my geeky fact. I love to read and will read anything you put in front of me. Even those 500 page work manuals that no one actually reads.

Thank you @KMW08! That was a fun thread- great to see everyone's style and the variety was so much fun. AF finally came, and went. H and I are actively TTCing

Doing things a little differently this time around. We're doing the every other night until I O (which then turns to three nights in a row, skip a night, and then one more the next night

) and I'm tracking that with OPK's (my first time using them!). So far so good, I've read up on all the rules and am following them to a T. Plus, I've introduced Pomegranate juice, figuring hey - why not?

FX for you that CD1 gets here asap for you!

Geeky fact about me: I took the ASVAB test while considering joining the military years ago... and I scored considerably high in the category of "memorizing sequences of numbers". It's true, I do have a freaky ability to memorize number sequences, as I do remember lyrics to rap songs. I wonder if the two are related.....

I am realizing now I meant to say we're planning to BD the night I get a positive O, plus the following two nights, then skip one night, and give it another go the following. We're trying out the SMEP (https://spermmeetseggplan.com/smep-step-by-step/). I think the break is in there to give H time to rejuvenate supply, y'know? There's a lot of details in the book about why it's recommended, according to this plan, to skip a night but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Thanks! I am at cd15 and 1dpo according to FF, but I think I may actually be at O and not 1dpo as I am having some twinges that feel very o pain like. But,I generally O between cd14 and 16 so I think Im right on schedule.

I doOPKs and check CM and cp. I accidentally bought the advanced CBE OPKs this month. They give a low, peak or high reading instead of just yes or no and I think that may have messed me up. I had regular dip OPKs and used those too. Today is day 3 of positive opk. I usually have 3 days including the cycle I was pregnant.

I'm a little worried about our timing though because even though we have bd the last 3 days, on Monday it was in the morning and Tuesday in the evening....what if I actually Od on Monday night? Would I have missed the window entirely? I think we will bd again tonight and then just hope for the best.

Sorry this is super rambly. Any thoughts on my blithering?

ETA geeky fact. My favorite subject in school was the part of high school English where we studied Latin and Greek roots and suffixes that are important to the English language. I think words are fascinating but i cannot spell worth a damn. My favorite word is terradiddle which means pretentious nonsense. :-)

If you O'd Monday night, having sex on Tuesday night was probably too late, but the sex you had Monday morning and Sunday were still right in the perfect window. Good luck!

I'm going with O being tomorrow, as typically you Ov 12-24hrs after a +opk. FX yh is ready for a happy hump day too!

Completely agree with Beth on this one. Having 3 days of positives, I'd put my $$$ on the middle day being most likely as ov day. Which in that scenario makes your bd'ing right on cue!

Hope using the opk's hasn't been too confusing for you, it can take a little bit to get adjusted to reading them! Do you plan on temping at all or just using opk's for now?

Today was my second day testing with the OPK, yesterday and today came back negative, but I'm not terribly surprised because it was CD 10 yesterday, 11 today. So it's still pretty early, but since I did nothing last time around, I'm hoping this will give me a pattern to look to so that I know when I tend to O. If it goes two months and I'm not satisfied with being able to pinpoint O, then I'll add temp charting.

I used to always be so in tune with everything, but think maybe now I am hypersensitive, or just plain crazy. I just started charting since my mc, and don't temp, somedays I think I should, others I am afraid it will just up the crazy. GTKY: Share at least one "geeky" fact about yourself. I am with kalynn12 and reading. I LOVE to read and when I was a kid (like7), I used to hide under my blankets with a flashlight after my parents sent me to bed so I could stay up and read without them knowing!

I am completely clueless when it comes to these check in's. This is all new to me, so if im doing this wrong PLEASE let me know! lol I'll apologize in advance!

Intro: My EDD was 1-5-14, our loss date was 6-4-13 and our D&C was 1-7-13, DH and I have been TTC for a little over a year now. This past MC was our 4th loss. I do not have a FF yet, Just found out about that little gem a couple hours ago but I will be using it SOON! I currently track my cycle by temping, checking cm, and I use OPK's more than anyone should. I haven't O'd this cycle, My second AF post D&C is MIA and im currently on CD 36 - bummer!

Yea the interview wasn't awesome. But I'm trying to stay positive about it. I just felt like I didn't have a great rapport with the interviewers. I guess it didn't feel totally natural. There is another round and I should hear if I made it to those interviews by the end of the week or Monday. So let's all FX that I'm their best candidate and I get a chance to redeem myself. Or better yet, they liked me more than I think they did. That would be the best option.

I'm not currently charting since we are TTA until next month (EEEEKKK) but I'm around CD27 but I had spotting over this past weekend. Monday (I think) I had a bright red swipe when I used the restroom. It was so weird. I hate this post-loss body. It's all wonky and confusing.

Thanks for your support. I will be honest, I didn't think it would happen so quickly and probably wasn't prepared for it. I wouldn't mind waiting a month or two this time.

I have had interviews as well where I didn't feel like I had a rapport with the interviewer but sometimes that's just the way they interview so you might be surprised. FX that you get that next interview

Welcome to the check in! You'll be addicted to FF in no time. How long are your cycles typically and/or how long was your 1st cycle post d&c? Have you been seeing a RE -- any testing done or being done?

I can't lie, deciding to temp definitely added some crazy to my life (mostly for the good). I wanted to know what was going on with my body, especially since my cycles can vary by 7 days or more.

FX AF shows her ugly face soon for you. Are you cleared to ttc when she shows or were you instructed to wait a couple of cycles?

KMW, thanks for the anniversary wishes! We had a great, relaxing vacation...and AF arrived on the last day, yay! I went in for CD3 blood work and u/s, which was normal. My RLP test results are trickling in and so far are all normal. And I am having a hysteroscopy on Tuesday, to make sure there are no uterine issues contributing to my losses.

QOTW: Just ONE? I have a LOT.

I was an orchestra geek -- played the viola for ten years. Also a big reader like a lot of you. AND I'm a librarian.

I'm glad AF waited to show until the last day, that's exceptional timing on her behalf! I'm glad your results have been normal thus far #:-S FX for an uneventful hysteroscopy on Tuesday as well.

I have no idea how you handle being a librarian--I would never get anything done because I'd be too engulfed in reading all of the books and making lists of what I want to read!

Heh heh. It's a risk. But I am actually a librarian at a law firm, so all our books are like tax regulations and contract law -- not exactly page turners.

There's no temptation to use them for anything but work!

I may need to temp to ease my mind of what's going on. Pre-loss my cycles were regular, and I had every symptom and sign down pat. Now I am second guessing every single one. My midwife as well as the ob told us we could start trying again whenever we wanted, but suggested waiting one cycle for daring purposes. MH doesn't see the need to wait (since they didn't) but I am waiting for a normal cycle first. I have zero trust in my body and need to believe it can at least do what it used to before I throw anything else at it. I am sure this cycle will fly by for you KMW08, and your surgery date will be here before you know it. Your original date was postponed because of your docs vay-cay (and conflicting CD)correct?

Edit: Was replying to KMW08 while reading the post about Poppys interview, and put the wrong bumpie in! That's what I get bumping when over tired. Sorry @KMW08 that comment was intended for you.

Hi Ladies!

Nothing new with me.... still no AF. Currently on CD 59.... I think. About a week ago, I started lightly, and I mean LIGHTLY spotting. I was almost like a light brown EWCM. IF that was a period, then I'm on approx. CD 8. (Sorry if TMI)..... I'm giving it another week before I call the Doctor.

GTKY: Ok, Geeky.... I am a sucker for reality TV, you name it I watch it. Also, I DVR Days of Our Lives and watch it regularly! Oh and I'm a total theatre geek! Heh heh. It's a risk. But I am actually a librarian at a law firm, so all our books are like tax regulations and contract law -- not exactly page turners. There's no temptation to use them for anything but work!

I still think I'd be intrigued, there's gotta be a lot of interesting info in there, even if it requires a lot of sifting to find it!

I can't lie, deciding to temp definitely added some crazy to my life (mostly for the good). I wanted to know what was going on with my body, especially since my cycles can vary by 7 days or more.
FX AF shows her ugly face soon for you. Are you cleared to ttc when she shows or were you instructed to wait a couple of cycles?
I may need to temp to ease my mind of what's going on. Pre-loss my cycles were regular, and I had every symptom and sign down pat. Now I am second guessing every single one. My midwife as well as the ob told us we could start trying again whenever we wanted, but suggested waiting one cycle for daring purposes. MH doesn't see the need to wait (since they didn't) but I am waiting for a normal cycle first. I have zero trust in my body and need to believe it can at least do what it used to before I throw anything else at it. I am sure this cycle will fly by for you Poppy, and your surgery date will be here before you know it. Your original date was postponed because of your docs vay-cay (and conflicting CD)correct?

Yep, Dr vacay and cd worries. I understand wanting to wait until normalcy returns. Sometimes waiting can be better for some mental healing as well. ((HUGS))

☆Eliz77 1/13/14 edd - CD2, you'll be having more bloodwork, correct? Has your hsg been scheduled yet?

Techinically CD 3 today, and I had some blood work and an u/s done today. I was told my uterus looks "normal", a few small cysts on ovaries, but nothing too concerning. My HSG is scheduled for Monday, and we are to get all results back. H cannot go due to work, and he feels terrible, but I may bring my mom along so I don't have to go alone. We did find out today that the SA looks normal, so at least we know it isn't him. Fingers crossed I have good news next week!!!

!! Ugh, so frustrating on af being a no show. Maybe the spotting could be ovulation spotting? Either way I hope the bish shows before you call your doctor. I definitely say call within in a week, as it's standard advice around here that if af doesn't show by cd60, that warrants a call.

I really hope so...it was like EWCM, but a light brown in color.... either that was a sign of O, or possibly a really light (almost nonexistent) period. Definitely call the doc if she doesn't show by next week....

Yea the interview wasn't awesome. But I'm trying to stay positive about it. I just felt like I didn't have a great rapport with the interviewers. I guess it didn't feel totally natural. There is another round and I should hear if I made it to those interviews by the end of the week or Monday. So let's all FX that I'm their best candidate and I get a chance to redeem myself. Or better yet, they liked me more than I think they did. That would be the best option.

I'm not currently charting since we are TTA until next month (EEEEKKK) but I'm around CD27 but I had spotting over this past weekend. Monday (I think) I had a bright red swipe when I used the restroom. It was so weird. I hate this post-loss body. It's all wonky and confusing.

Intro: My EDD was 1-5-14, our loss date was 6-4-13 and our D&C was 1-7-13, DH and I have been TTC for a little over a year now. This past MC was our 4th loss. Welcome to the check in! You'll be addicted to FF in no time. How long are your cycles typically and/or how long was your 1st cycle post d&c? Have you been seeing a RE -- any testing done or being done?

Thank you for the warm welcome! Post D&C I was a 28 day on the dot cycle without fail. Even my past losses went back to 28 days immediately. HOWEVER, Im overly happy to report AF JUST showed up tonight! YAY!!! Works out well since i'll be starting my FF. I have not had any prior testing done, I see my OB on base and she is sending me out for fertility testing on the 28th. Nervous for that, but happy to be moving forward finally.

So, I haven't been posting in here lately, but still been trying to keep up with everyone!

I've been having a horrible time trying to use Target brand OPKs this cycle. I'm not a fan, but I'm waiting on my Amazon order, so I had to make do. I'm on CD 13 and maybe ovulated on CD11? No CHs yet and only ever got one "maybe" positive OPK, so we'll see. I've still been getting weekly shots to try and fix my malabsorption issues, I get another blood draw next week to check progress.

A geeky fact about me? I love tabletop RPGs.
