Ok, so we all know we aren't supposed to have foods that aren't pasteurized, such as feta, brie, and other soft cheeses. I've been checking the labels on my food and a LOT of things aren't labeled as 'pasteurized', such as: yogurt, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese....how do I know what is ok and what isn't? I might die if I can't have sour cream or greek yogurt as a substitute Thanks!
Are you living in the U.S.? Are you buying your cheese from your next door farmer neighbor? If you're buying your groceries at the store and checking the soft cheeses for whether or not they're made with pasteurized milk, you're fine. There are plenty of brands of soft cheeses in the U.S. that use pasteurized milk for their products, so those are the labels you need to check. Other than that, don't worry about your other, store-bought dairy. Eat up!
