Opinions on these names?

I find out soon what I'm having. The names I have picked out are Silas lane for a boy, and Adelaide for a girl. Opinions?!!

    Both are a bit unique for my style. The girl name is pretty, but Silas always makes me think of the albino villain in The Da Vinci code.

    I love the name Silas (but be prepared to be asked if you like the show Weeds a lot).  Adelaide isn't my style, but I still really like it.

    June/July 2011 - IVF #1 - Transfer cancelled due to OHSS
    23 perfect embryos. All 23 made it to freezing!
    September/October - FET #1 - October 12th - 2 Grade A embies
    October 20th - BFP??! EDD - July 1, 2012
    Beta #1 = 154, Beta #2 = 352 Beta #3 = 3,800
    U/S #2 - November 14th = 133 bpm! U/S #3 & 4 - November 30th and December 7th = 163 bpm! U/S#5 - January 30th - TEAM PINK!!!

    Silas is a sinister sounding name to me so I'm not a big fan of it.

    I love the name Silas is sounds bad ass, but is also a good old name. Adelaide also has a nice ring to it and Addy (or however it's spelled) is a cute nickname IMO. The names are unique, but not to the point where you have people questioning WTF were their parents thinking. :)

    I love Adelaide, but my husband is Australian so he'd never go for it. That'd be like me calling the baby, Sacramento. Hehe.
    Silas is not my favourite name, but it's your choice. 
    My brother turned me towards this Freakonomics podcast. It made me think twice about some of my name choices. It's worth listening to.

    I love Silas, its a country kinda name like Cecil. Adelaide is cute too. Silas is also my pick for a boy name. : )

    I love Adelaide!!! I always wanted to have a little girl named Adelaide, but then my cousin used the name for his daughter, so I'll live vicariously through you if you get to use it.  ;) I like Silas, too. We have friends with a little boy named Silas and he's such a sweetie!
