Stumped on a Name

Hi all - about to have a baby boy and am completely stumped on a name. My husband wants something more traditional and myself more unique and modern sounding. My first son's name is Nolan Anthony: we have a boring last name - "Brown." Next son will be ____ Blake Brown so I don't want a one syllable name, a name that starts in "B", or ends in "N." Any suggestions or ideas?

Some of the names we've talked about include Wyatt, Sawyer, Hunter ...

    I like all 3 of those names!! How about Archer, Oliver, Everett..

    Thanks for your ideas! Baby boy names are so hard - I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way ... I have a zillion ideas for girls, but boys, I just draw a blank. Of the names that have been mentioned, I have a brother-in-law, a cousin, a best friend's son, a couple of dogs I know, an ex-boyfriend and a co-worker with one of each of those names. Therein likes the difficult part in picking a name! (Not being able to choose a particular name due to certain "restrictions" even if they are self-imposed ...)

    I really like Sawyer.


    I think boy names are much easier because I only like a handful of boy names.
    Girls are much harder because you love so many it is very hard to narrow down your choices. IMO.

    Of your choices I love Wyatt. The others are NMS.

    I think Zachary, Edward, Anthony and Eric sound good with Blake but they may be a little too common/ boring for you.

    Jeremiah, Elias, August/Augustus, Felix, Isaac, Isaiah, Liam, Sebastian, Vincent.

    It's interesting you've talked about Hunter, since Hunter Blake IS the boy name for BIL. He's had it picked out forever. And even though it's NMS, I think the names sound pretty good together.

    I think Wyatt Blake is nicer, though.

    Thanks for the additional ideas! I like August Blake, especially since I have an ancestor named Julian Auguste, but I'm afraid if the baby is born is August I'm going to always be asked the question: "did you name the baby August because she was born in August?" lol I like Elias/Eli as well.
