Hunter had a rough night last night, I think due to my spicy lunch, but is doing awesome tonight! Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep for about an hour after his last feed. What's up with that?? Hoping for more sleep this time!
Here! We're staying at my parents lake place this weekend and so far things are going ok. E seems a little unsettled but not too bad. We'll see how the rest of our night/weekend goes.
I am up. We have photos tomorrow and since DH has been in charge of the house since my C-section...well, finding things has been a task - and washing them is taking forever. I have no idea how the house could fall into such disarray so quickly when I am doing stuff every day/night when I see things that he ignores that can't be left.
Baby fell asleep an hour or so ago and I was desperately tired, but DH hadn't cleaned up the food, etc so I did it and now I am awake. I figure she should wake up about the time I lay down.
I am here. Alex is happuly drinking up while i pretend to think about not itching myself. It would seem the painkillers from the c section don't like me much. So now i can't use my meds and i am covered in hives. Sounds like the start to a great weekend.
We're up for the first time tonight. Six hours is our new record! I'm a little sad though, bc H and I are going out tonight, and so that'll throw DS schedule off. Plus, I only have six oz pumped. I'll pump more today, but baby boy likes to eat in the evenings.
West coaster here--12:30am. Feeding DD now and hoping for a long stretch. I'm shooting a wedding tomorrow so I was up late prepping with DD in the Moby.
Here! DD fed and now can't get comfortable unless she is laying on me. I am now in a position where it is gonna be difficult to get up to put her back in her rocker. Oh well.
Up! Pumping one boob after LO ate from the other. She fell asleep early last night (in DH's arms as he was trying to give her a bottle) but still slept 6.5 hours. That's my girl!

Up for #1. He went 5 hours between feedings which he has never done before at night! I actually woke up before he did and asked MH to make sure he was ok! Hoping he will go back down as easily as he has been the past few nights.
Up for #2. He fell asleep in the swing downstairs and was out cold so I stayed down and woke him up at 13 to eat and brought him upstairs. He just woke up now, so got a solid 3.5 hours in between!
Its been a rough night so far .. we are at my parent's for the weekend and Logan is having a hard time sleeping tonight. I gave in at this feeding and used the nipple shield I don't want him waking everyone up but at the same time he does well all day without the shield and I feel like I'm reversing our progress to go without. At 3 weeks and in a new place I am doing what I can I guess.
I'm up for feeding number 2. Little man was fussy but after getting his latch on the diaper sounds came flying. This may be a dumb question but do you all let loved one wake you or do you set ur alarms?
We're up. LO is feeding after a quick diaper change. She slept 4h15m, which is great, but she had a few 6 hr nights early in the week. AND she ate for over 6 hrs yesterday.
I thought she was past the growth spurt. Sunday and Monday were six hr + feeding days, but tues, wed, thurs, were under six and closer to five. (She's 4w2d old).
Here's hoping all the babies go right back to sleep after their feedings.

I let her wake me. When she was smaller I had to use an alarm but now she lets me know when she's hungry!

Emma falls asleep in her swing every evening and I have to wake her to feed before putting her down upstairs but if I didn't she would wake up right as I fall asleep! Oh well....
Here! Up about every 2 hours tonight. H just changed her so I could refill my water bottle and change my tshirt as I had sweat through it. Oh the glam life we lead
Up here since 3:30. Logan took a really long time to fall asleep but did sleep 5 hours but has been really restless since. Won't let me put him down or really remove him from my boob but he is not eating. I think it is the chocolate coconut milk ice cream I ate earlier-- maybe too much caffeine? DH tried to hold him but he (DH) kept dosing off so I got pissed because I was afraid he would drop DS (he was lying in bed with DS on his chest) so I brought him down to the couch. I have about 1 hour until DD1 wakes up... and I have DD2s birthday party to prep for Sunday so it's looking like I'm going to be one miserable, tired beast today.
This is her 2nd feeding. I'm staying at my moms and of course she moved the diapers/wipes so I had to wake her up.

I just let my LO wake me but he's never slept 7 hours so maybe I should wake him?
Here. It's 2:45 now and we're up for the first time tonight. DS fell asleep by 10 pm so not bad. He did cluster feed from about 6 pm until he fell asleep though...

I stopped setting my alarm when he turned 3 weeks and let him wake me now. Once they are past their birth weight it's ok to let them sleep overnight for as long as they will so seeing how you don't really ever know how long that will be setting an alarm kind of defeats the purpose.
Back again less than 2 hours later. It's so challenging feeding her without the shield. She seems lazier at night and it takes forever to get her to latch and it hurts... At least I've gone the whole day without a shield. Hoping it gets easier and that we can work on this latch not hurting.
DS woke up about 15 minutes ago for the first feeding. It's almost 3 so it's been about 4 hours. Not bad. Just wish I could sleep better. DS1 woke up because of the loud thunder we are having...just been an odd evening.
Up! We figured out the latch issue (thank GOD for nipple shields) but now, of course, breast fed babies wake up more... Just fed him, now he's in a milk coma next to me. We got one three hour stretch of sleep. Is that all I'll need to feel human soon?
