Thank you OP for this. I removed the bottom part of the insert and adjusted the straps on my Graco Snugride because of the post. LO looks so much more comfortable!
I'm so glad I could help a few people out with this post! Here I thought it was something everyone knew and that I was oblivious to. I also learned some important information about the PnP weight limit, so I'm glad I decided to share my oversight!
Regarding the Britax polka dot pad thing....
DH and I scoured the manual last night to see if we are supposed to take it out, but there was nothing about it. So I guess it stays in, although it is removable. It didnt look like the seat would be too comfortable without it, though.
I think I'm going to call britax on Monday. I thought I read something about taking out the insert at 11 pounds but now I can't find that in the manual either. It's confusing because there is only one slot for the shoulder straps, which makes it seem like you should take it out when it's time to raise the straps.
