Weekend Plans

Since lack of sleep seems to be my new constant thing, and my cleaning spree yesterday has made it so walking is almost physically impossible, I thought I'd see what everyones plans are for the weekend.

My best friend and her sisters are coming today for the day, I think we may spend the afternoon at the beach, and go to a baseball game tonight, depending on how I feel.

Other than that, I plan on spending the weekend cleaning and shopping.

last weekend just the two of us - staying home and enjoying the down time.

Next weekend MIL is here and the induction begins sunday night.

Even though I've lived here my whole life, I'm doing a walking tour of Boston (can't hurt to get things moving

and steam cleaning our carpet for the eight millionth time. Living in an apartment with wall to wall carpeting has been the bane of my existence!

Doing another cleaning sweep, then just relaxing. DH's birthday is tomorrow, so we're going to dinner and doing whatever he wants.

I've never been a huge fan of the beach. At least not the lake. My town is right on Lake Michigan, and it's one of those things that have always been around. I haven't been in years and so I figure that it might be fun to go. Except I want to drink at the beach, which is obviously not possible.

I have to work this weekend. (boo!) But it is my last weekend before maternity leave!! Between working - cleaning the house, and just relaxing. Tonight is Friday night pizza night, per usual

We are finally getting the bunk bed for the girls tomorrow! We've been waiting for it to come in Forever! Hopefully we can convert the toddler bed back to a crib easily! We are only switching out a few accessories to change Gabby's room into Michaels.

Having a friend over for dinner tonight then going to see We're The Millers with her and DH. Tomorrow DH and I are planning a huge walking spree around our small town's craft/art show & block party.

We are putting the crib together this weekend. DD2 isn't crazy about the rock n play.

Thinking maybe something fun for DD1 like the Zoo.

We need to go shopping for DD1 but it is tax free weekend this weekend. I can't think of a more perfect situation for all hell to break loose with a toddler and newborn so we might wait.

Tonight DH and I are going to a fantasy football draft with my sister, her fiancé, my cousin, and some of my cousin's friends. Tomorrow I need to address the envelopes for my sisters bridal shower and Sunday I am going to my cousins bridal shower.

Clean the house and go for a nice long walk with my dog.... my husband works every weekend during the summer so it's quiet around my house on Saturdays and Sundays....

Sewing, lots of sewing. I have a crap load of projects to finish before this little girl joins us in 11 days (induction on the 20th). Oh and hopefully some light shopping with DH. We need to get a bring home outfit in 0-3 just in case she's a chunky monkey, and we want to get her her first teddy bear. Other than that, I'm supposed to be "taking it easy and resting".

I will be celebrating my birthday (its this sat, the 10th) with my parents and DS but DH will be on a weeks vacation. I will probably just clean and maybe try and hang up some more picture frames in our living room.

Lunch with friends tomorrow, shop for a washer and dryer, and clean out DH's office in apartment to make room for baby. I know it's late (I'm 39 weeks today), but we were thrown a curve ball last week on our plans to move to a house.

We have a wedding tomorrow... it's actually a DOUBLE wedding- twin sisters! I am really hoping to go. I have a nice little day planned- going to get up early and hang out by my parents pool with DS, then leave him there and get my nails done on the way home, then wait for DH to get home from work and head to the wedding. I'm looking forward to it.

Of course is LO decides to come between now and then I would be totally fine with it!

Wow, I am due on the 14th and if baby comes on her due date then this is our last weekend of just the two of us too! Exciting thought!

We have a graduation party to go to on Saturday and then hubby works at the fire department on Sunday. Nothing doing really.

Tomorrow I'll be doing a little cleaning and getting a pedicure and then DH are doing dinner with my parents. Sunday no plans, so probably not much of anything productive will occur. I'd be happy to pop out a baby this weekend too should she decide she's ready...but it would be cool if she waits until after my pedi so at least my feet look nice.

I will be missing my cousin's wedding this weekend and hoping LO doesn't come so my mom can enjoy the wedding. Would love to go but the wedding is 5 hours away on Sunday and I am due on Tuesday.

So hopefully I'll be sitting on the couch looking at pictures from my family as the wedding goes on.

Other than that DH has to work so I'll probably just hang around the house and see if the nesting kicks in.

Hopefully I will get crafty this weekend. Everything else is done, and I am rewarding myself with crafts. I plan to make a mesh wreath for the hospital door then transfer to her nursery door. And maybe a couple of sewing projects. ....or I may just lay on the couch all weekend!

also, tonight I the hubby and I are making a point to spend quality time together and making dinner and snuggling our LO. Tomorrow, yard sales and my mom is making thanksgiving dinner (yes, this happens multiple times a year in my family). Sunday, hopefully just relaxing!

I'll be going down the list of OWT trying to get something to kickstart labor. Midwife wants me at least starting to show signs of labor before the hospital appt Monday to lessen possibility of them pushing for induction.
