Reading all these threads about terrible name spelling makes me want to go out of my way to butcher the pronunciation of misspelled names in real life....is that petty? Or helpful to society as a whole?
Reading all these threads about terrible name spelling makes me want to go out of my way to butcher the pronunciation of misspelled names in real life....is that petty? Or helpful to society as a whole?
My dad was a college professor and used to do this to his students. When they'd correct him he would tell them that wasn't how it was spelled or the English language worked and insist on pronouncing it the "correct" way.
