Holy crap, my water broke!!! At first I felt this little pop that I thought was my stupid back cracking again while I peed. Then I sat down only to find a small gush. Of course, after two false alarms with watery discharge, I just dismissed it. When telling dh about it, I felt another small trickle, went to the bathroom, and some water that was definitely not pee came out. Then, while talking to my ob in my other bathroom, I had a flat out gush that went all over the floor. Good times, ladies.
I'm heading to L&D with dh now. Looks like I'll be having a baby!!!
Btw, sorry about the new tmi thread. I totally could have posted in yesterday's thread, but I'm so excited I wanted to be an AW.
"If you're still my small babe or you're all the way grown, my promise to you is you're never alone. You are my angel, my darling, my star...and my love will find you, wherever you are."
Btw, may I suggest Always overnight long pads with wings? These things are no joke and have kept me feeling dry through all the gushes of water I've had, which have honestly been a lot. I did double up for the car ride, just in case, but they've been awesome!
OOOO, I like hearing stories where people explain how it feels when their water breaks. I'm that idiot FTM that worries she won't "know" when she's in labor.
Good luck! I hope LO is ready to come and you have a sweet and easy delivery!

I was home when my water broke...woke io to use the bathroom and then was sitting back in bed when GUSH! Ran to the bathroom and continued to pour out along the way. Because I was only 33 weeks, we had to get to the hospital ASAP...I tried to wear pads on the way there, but they didn't do a thing. I had a huge wet bottom walking through the hospital. Luckily it was 2am so not many people were around.
