How much longer can this go on???

LO eats about every hour during the day (unless she naps). Then she eats all night. Constantly. She is EBF. It makes it difficult to do anything with her and poor DH sees the back of her head all night. She is 9w2d. For those of you who have been through this before, how long does this typically last?

    My LO eats a lot during the day too, but that is because she only takes in one feeding between 8-9 pm and 7am (10-11 hours). Your baby needs to take in so many oz per day. In my case, she really only has 13 hours to get in her other feedings....so it's going to be pretty frequent. Since your LO is still eating frequently at night, I agree it may be more for pacifying like PP said.. Have you tried a pacifier instead? If this is new, it could be a growth spurt.

    This has been going on pretty much since birth. She sucks/swallow, but takes a lot of breaks in between. I'm sure there are times she is using me to pacify, it's tough to tell. She rarely will take a pacifier. I've told the pedi about this several times and she is not concerned- she says eating small amounts frequently is good due to her digestive issues. It's just really exhausting for me and I feel bad for DH. Any suggestions?

    Lurking from June, but my baby is also 9 weeks and does the same thing if he's awake he wants to eat every hour it makes leaving the house very difficult. He also only eats about 5 min one side I think he's only getting about 2 oz and just snacking his pedi said he's gaining wait beautifully but I'm exhausted.
