I know some of yall on facebook have seen this already.
Last night we had a really crazy scary night. Frankie woke up at 3 which is normal'ish with these teeth coming in, so I put him in bed with us because I just wanted to sleep obviously. He wasn't
falling asleep and just wanted me to hold him. So I got up to make him a bottle. As I was standing in front of the fridge he had climbed out of our bed and came to meet me in the kitchen. He was whining for me to hold him, like pulling on my leg whining and bitching. Then
suddenly he sat down and he slid sideways into my entry hallway. Like
fast, it's at least 4 feet he slid. He didn't crawl he slid sideways while still sitting up! So I ran
over to grab him and I tried to call for my husband and I couldn't speak. I tried to scream and I couldn't make a sound. I ran back in the room and while I was going
through frankies room I got lightheaded and dizzy and I still couldn't
call my husband. I had no voice at all. Then Frankie grabbed his bottle
out of my hand and I felt like I snapped out of a fog.
So I go to my bed I lay Frankie down between us with his
bottle and he's sleeping within 5 minutes. Im having a hard time processing what just happened and just want to hide under the covers. My husband is still asleep and then we hear Frankie cry, but from his room. But
he was in bed with us knocked out. We heard it for about a hour off and
on then it stopped for a little bit. Then would start again, all night long we heard baby cries from his room while he was sound asleep in bed with us.
I
don't know what happened how to explain him sliding across the floor or
hearing cries all night. My nerves are shot, were putting Frankie in the pack and play in our room tonight. I dont want anyone to think im crazy. I was crying just trying to tell my husband the part about him sliding across the floor. I've never seen anything like it in my life. We have a friend that's a priest and my husband is going to call him tonight to see about blessing the house.
I know all this sounds insane and if you think im crazy I dont blame you but I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen or heard it with my own eyes and ears. The fact that my husband heard the cries too really makes me worried because he's the biggest skeptic you've ever met.
Re: Do you believe in spirits/ghosts?
We had begun packing last week and the cross that I got from my grandmas funeral was packed up, it has always been on the wall above our bed. I literally unpacked it first thing this morning and hung it back on the wall over our bed.
What just happened in my diaper?!
I've had experience with it, and I do believe in them, but probably not in the way most people do.
I've never experienced anything myself but I've heard stories. My coworker believes there is a child ghost in her home. She and one of her sons have seen him. But he seems to be friendly and harmless. One of their dogs would freak out and bark to the air. Things would fall of tables, a single frame would fall from the wall. Furniture would move upstairs when nobody was there. So I don't doubt spirits exist.
Maybe your MIL is doing some voodoo on you?? :-O
Hopefully whatever is in your home leaves asap!
But seriously.. next time put a warning up.. MANDIE DO NOT READ THIS!!!!! You know I am here by myself and now all Im going to be thinking about is this!!!! And when Im up at 3-4am.. I'll be calling you!!!!
Even a minor event in the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world event.
The reason I ask is several years ago, my cousin's piano (she was a concert pianist) started playing by itself at weird times during the night and day. And as this went on, other creepy things started happening. One day her best friend witnessed the piano "episode" and started asking my cousin questions, and then looked around her apartment. She noticed a new picture of some famous musician lady that was hung on the wall by the piano, and asked my cousin when she had gotten the picture - she realized she had gotten it shortly before all the weird stuff started. They researched this lady and found out that she was also heavily involved in witchcraft and satan worship stuff.
My cousin trashed the picture, and never had the episodes again.
Wait, what does that mean? Do you talk to dead people?
I wish. I'm not good at it lol. They just come as they please
What just happened in my diaper?!
Mortal enemies tend to have a lot in common ;-)
Lol luckily our tv is 6 feet off the ground , thank god!
We lived in a rental for almost a year when Cortlandt was around 18 months old and he used to wake up screaming with his eyes open but would be "looking through" us no matter how much he tried to comfort him or talk to him its like he completely wasn't there and it used to freak us the eff out! He would also wake up talking about the "ball" above his bed so we got our preacher to come pray over the house and it all stopped!
I hope you guys are able to get answers because I know I had stopped sleeping at night and started bringing him into our room at night!
::hugs::
Holy Crap!!!!!!!! Just read this and I would be completely freaked out. I live in RI, which is where the real house depicted in the Conjuring is located (about 20 min from the house) and there is NO WAY I could ever watch it. I don't like scary movies anyway, never mind something close to home. I don't know that I could stay in my home after an event like you experienced.
My aunt "came" to me in my dreams to say goodbye when she died. I woke up in the morning and my mother told me she died overnight and I was like "yeah, I know". Didn't think it was at all weird but the rest of my family did.
OMG @reinedecajun I totally see it! It's on the top left (reflection of the purple object), on the floor ! A small baby's face, mouth wide open crying! Creeeeeepy!!
