Twins are home!

After 10 days in NICU my twins came home Friday night!  I am so happy to have them home, and it was the best feeling to see my toddler's reaction to seeing them for the first time.  I have discovered a benefit of NICU...they are on an amazing schedule!  They eat every 3 hours and because they are early, they sleep in between.  I have to wake them for feedings right now until they get bigger.  They have only cried longer than a minute or two maybe once a day.  I am enjoying it because I know it will not last, haha.  Soon enough it will be chaos! 

Also, the same day they came home I found out that my doggie is cancer free!  I was told 4 days before I delivered that there was an 80% chance my dog had a very aggressive form of cancer.  I was completely devastated.  He is my all time favorite pet and I bought him for my mom a month before she died, so he is extra sentimental.  After ruling out infection, we did a biopsy and it came back that it is a benign tumor.  The combination of being told my dog may die, then having the twins go to NICU made me a complete emotional disaster last week.  I am so happy that everything is finally back to normal and I can be my normal self again:)

I am sorry for being so MIA...the mobile site is being a pain on my phone and I feel like I have missed so many birth stories!  I tried to catch up some but congratulations to any mommies I missed!
