Ten Things Tuesday

1. I'm so sleepy. 2. I'm glad one of my kids went with grandma for a night so no fighting around here, and both are gone tomorrow night (yay end of summer!) 3. all I want to eat is junk. 4. RLP sucks 5. I need a nap but I keep messing around online instead 6. I should really cook dinner tonight instead of being lazy again 7. I have a meeting in the morning for my kids school and do not feel like looking presentable before 9am .. 8. I am so excited to be pregnant again

9. Time better fly by during the first trimester 10. I keep looking at maternity clothes even though I won't need them for awhile

1. I have considered walking to my car to take a nap this afternoon. I've done it before and it was awesome.
2. It's cloudy out so it's the perfect amount of light for a nap.
3. We didn't have any food in the house so I had to buy breakfast and lunch at the deli in my building. It was actually good - an omelet and fruit for breakfast and salmon patty salad for lunch.
4. I'm a horrible speller; yet, I write for a living (sort of. I do media for the federal government which requires a lot of writing).
5. I told my family about our pregnancy this weekend at a lake house in Luray, VA.
6. My dad and brother-in-law saw a ghost in the cabin.
7. I didn't sleep Saturday night because I was afraid of the ghost.
8. It's 3:33. Make a wish.
9. I wish it was 4:33. Or better yet, 5:15 so I could leave.
10. I hope DH makes something good for dinner tonight. I'm so glad he cooks and has dinner waiting for me when I get home from work.

1. I just fell asleep while peeing.
2. Peeing is all I do. All day. All night.
3. I hope I don't fall asleep on the way home.
4. Has this "sweet pea" really only been growing for 6 weeks?!
5. I'm so ready to tell the world!
6. I'm so ready for an ultra sound!
7. Beach vacay is in 20 days.
8. Wish I was going to have a baby bump to show off.
9. I need a bowl of raisin bran. I'm obsessed with raisin bran.
10. I just fell asleep again.

1. All morning I had almost no appetite & felt nauseous, which is making me nervous morning sickness is around the corner. 2. I'm even more worried about this because school starts next week, and I don't want to be trying not to throw up while introducing myself to my students! 3. I was out of town this weekend for a work event, and my son's face when he saw me this morning melted my heart! 4. He then proceeded to give me a step by step run down of his dinner & bedtime with Daddy last night. 5. I was relieved to make it through seeing most of my colleagues this weekend without anyone seeming to notice my bloat belly. 6. There is a lady at my work who has a crazy sixth sense for telling when people are pregnant, and I am SO worried about running in to her at school for the first time. 7. We have told our immediate families except my MIL & FIL, and I plan on waiting as long as possible before letting them in on it. 8. My mom is already starting to work on baby blankets for this baby. 9. As soon as my son goes to sleep, I am going to eat some ice cream. 10. I can't wait to buy some more maternity clothes, even though I have a bunch from my son. ETA: trying to fix formatting

1. I just told my two best friends tonight and they both cried! 2. I am watching Shark Week as I type! 3. Still Hasn't sunk in yet that I'm growing a person 4. Interested to see if my cat starts acting any different. Read they can sense pregnancies very early on 5. Lost weight the first couple weeks after finding out, probably to the no alcohol 6. Found out I was Preggo while on vacation in the same beach house I got engaged in! 7. Hoping I don't blow up like a house during these 9 months like Kim Kardashian 8. Having the first grand baby on either side is super exciting..love how excited my parents are 9. Learned a good excuse for not drinking...."taking an antibiotic" while waiting until ready to tell people 10. So excited that as a teacher ill go right from maternity leave to summer break!

1. I want August to fly by so I can get to my first Dr appt 2. I hate that I am wishing my summer away, as a teacher I wait all year for it! 3. One of my yellow labs is sleeping with his head on my belly and I wonder if he knows something is different (art of racing the rain-ish which I had to put down and couldn't finish). 4. Shocked at how much my boobs hurt 5. I lost 50 lbs and kept it off for over a year so am kind of afraid about the weight gain but can't wait for a bump 6. I want to tell everyone I see... Hey guess what?!!?!? IM PREGNANT!!! 7. I teach Zumba and can't wait to shake my bump 8. I love Sangria 9. I should have the art of fake drinking mastered by October, hoping to get through my cousins shower, bachelorette weekend, and wedding without anyone suspecting 10. It pisses me off that I haven't figured out how to add a ticker yet. I want my Appleseed picture dammit!

1) Mac and cheese is my number 1 craving so far. I am eating it like its my job. 2) is kayaking a legit work out? I went out today in hopes that it counts. 3) I love to read but I don't have any non-baby books on my night stand. I need a good fiction book. 4) my hubby and I just got married in May and we are planning the honeymoon for the 2nd trimester. 5) I want to go on my honeymoon now. I love traveling. 6) I miss beer and wine more than I miss giving up smoking 7) is it wrong to eat ice cream every night? It 's summer time, aka ice cream time. 8) I have been living in a new state for 9 months, how does one find friends in a new place? 9) I love down hill skiing but I think I have to give it up this season, but it's so worth it. 10) baby is up to the size if a pea tomorrow, hello 7 weeks!

1) I just had a bowl of Rice Krispies after eating a full dinner 2) the only reason I didn't gain tons of weight with DS is that I could not keep food down the first trimester. 3) this baby very possible could share a birthday with my DS. I am due on the 10th and will have a RCS. DS was born on the 5th. 4) I got a BFP on my birthday (August 1st). It was an awesome gift. 5) I am so glad DH is out of the Air Force so that I have a choice in OBs. The military doctors made a surgical error during my C section and caused a hemorrhage. 6) I have a freakish finger toe. 7) I love math. 8) DS is having a hard time falling asleep tonight. I am grateful that DH does bedtime duties in our house. 9) I never thought I would own a pit bull but DH and I fell in love with one at the shelter and adopted one a few months ago. She is a very good puppy and fits well with my Rottweiler/beagle mix 10) I really hope DH is done soon so I can watch an episode of Orange is the new Black

lajohnso1982 try meetup.com. It's a great way to meet people. There are so many different types of groups out there by location and interests. I went to a local meetup group for women in their 20s and 30s when I first moved to my area and I made friends with a girl the first night. We get together on a regular basis and I've made other friends through her as well.
