I'm breastfeeding and 4 weeks pp and still in maternity bottoms. I was a size 12 pre pregnancy, and can't fit into size 16 now! What are you fine ladies doing to shed the lbs?
I'm FF, so I'm watching everything that goes in my mouth and walking 2 miles every day for now. Im 3 weeks pp after a csection. I plan on starting the couch to 5k again here soon and possibly taking up yoga after my next appt
Just BF at the moment. I tried my normal prepregnancy size zero jeans on yesterday... NOT pretty. So as soon as I get the all clear I plan to lose the 20lbs I still have packed on. I have been making very healthy choices in regards to food and I think that's helping as well. It'll be a great day when my pants fit and look nice again...sigh.
Just breast feeding for now. I can fit into my pre preg clothes but they're not comfortable at all so I'm still wearing maternity. I really need to go clothes shopping. I want some comfy skirts to wear for the rest of the summer. And I need more nursing friendly tops.
Same here on the tops...I definitely need some more that are easier to access the boobies!
Breastfeeding and walking. I have a post-partum workout DVD I plan to start once I get the all clear from my doctor and I'm almost giddy about being able to run again. I'm still pretty sore at times from my c-section though, so definitely don't want to over do things even if/when I get the all clear at six weeks.
Just walking and BFing for now. I'm just waiting for my bleeding to stop before I start a more vigorous routine. I've lost almost 30 lbs (gained 35, but had A LOT of swelling) so I'm happy with that. I want to be able to hit the gym to get my flat stomach back!
I'm using myfitnesspal to track my calories and started the 30 day shred. I'm also walking every day and going to start hot yoga soon. I fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes but definitely have muffin top going on
I'm doing nothing structured. I hurdle over a baby gate about 30 times a day. I carry my 30 pound son as he's trying to squirm out of my arms. I also chase him around while holding the baby.
I'm using my fitness pal. I'm also BF. I always like new friends in similar situations on MFP so if you want add me. My user name is Missyjg99.

I Am BF and have been walking with the dog and DS. I'm starting P90x with MH today, hopefully that will help me get past this plateau and shed the remaining 25 lbs that I have to get back to PP weight.
So far breastfeeding, taking walks when I can, and being a s.a.h.m. Last I checked I was 10lbs. away from my pre-pregnancy weight. I can't wait to get the all-clear for all exercise (it'll be 6weeks on the 19th) so I can try and get my stomach flatter. It looks pretty good from the side, but not as good as I was used to. I plan to use Dance Central and Dance Central 2 w/the Kinect and WiiFit Plus while d.d. sleeps. I might also try Your Shape: Fitness Evolved again.
I am almost 4 weeks postpartum, am breast feeding and have gotten back into running and P90x videos. I shrunk down pretty quickly after birth, but still have about 10 lbs to lose to get back to my pre pregnancy weight.
I'm only 3 w pp so i'm also only BFing and drinking a lot of water. For some reason this second time around I am losing the weight easier than I did with my first pregnancy. I am down 30 lbs since giving birth and only have about 3 more to get to my pre pregnancy weight so I'm feeling pretty awesome. I'd still like to lose another 30-40 lbs beyond that though so when given the green light I will start slowly with cardio and some exercise videos. Also I need to get better about my eating habits which is something I could easily do now.
Breast feeding and walking for now. I try to go on an hour long walk everyday, but sometimes it just does not happen. Oh well. At the 6 week mark, I'll start going to a local barre class that lets you bring your baby in her car seat and set her next to you during class.

Absolutely nothing until my pp appt next week. Hopefully I get the okay to start running again, and I also plan to join Weight Watchers. Running is my drug of choice and I miss it!
I lost 18 of the 38 lbs I gained basically just walking out of the hospital, but the other 20 has stayed put. Apparently I'm eating the calories I burn BFing. No pre preg clothes fit and it's depressing. My belly especially has a lot extra and I'm worried I got stretched out for good! Ugh.
I'm with Prim, it's hard enough to get a shower and brush my teeth. No working out going on over here yet. LO and myself are alive and fed and clean, that's enough for now!
This is how I feel too. I am 3 weeks PP. When I get the all clear to exercise and lift things, I will start walking for exercise!
Right now I am just walking and BFing. I went from 142 pp to 189lbs, and lost 27lb by the two-week mark with not much effort. I now have about 18lbs to go, however I'm just 5 weeks pp and haven't been cleared to work out.
Once I am good to go, I'll get back to running, and will likely order the T25 workout. I'll end up doing Insanity again I imagine since I love it and have has good results from it in the past, but I'd like to work up to that and T25 is only 25mins so I figured I can squeeze that into my day.
Breastfeeding and eating normally, not adding the extra calories. Ive only been at this for a week, but im 6lb from pp weight. I do hope to loose 20extra, and should be walking 2x daily by end of the week.
breastfeeding and binding it works wonders currently I have been using the c panty and I'm a week and a half out postpartum it has done wonders I really can't speak enough of it I also use my abdominal binder 24 hours a day
I have 13lbs left to go. I've been walking when I can but waiting to get cleared to do any running. I also hurt my back lifting E in her carseat too many times so Moving has been difficult the last couple of days. I am pumping but with my low supply I doubt I am burning many calories. I think I'll need to work hard to drop these last 13lbs.

I second the binding. I've been using the Bellefit and I love it.
As of now, just breastfeeding. I have about 30 to 40 lbs id like to lose, so I will have to incorporate something else soon. I want to start walking and of course improving my diet. But the diet part is difficult because I am always so hungry bfing.
This!!!!! I stay hungry as I'm pumping around the clock so the diet.thing is shot all to heck. I do enjoy walking and Ice water! I can't wait to get the clearance for workingout as a friend is a zumba instructor and her studio isn't far from where I live. Before baby I was a size 16 and at almost 3 weeks pp I'm a size 14! I had an 11.9 baby plus fluid and I'm sure stress has, played a part as well. I still wear my maternity clothes as my belly is still a little tender I had a csection on the 19th. It will come off in due time it took us 9 long months to pack it on give yourself that if longer to take it off. I'm giving myself a year to drop my goal of 50!
Re: How are you shedding the lbs?
I have a dog so walking her is my only other form of exercise right now. Might be awhile before I can really get back into my yoga routine.

But seriously, right now just BFing. After that, I'll be following my endocrinologist's recommendation and limiting carbs.
