We've agreed that we're definitely using the NN Ozzy. We can't decide on a formal first name. I kind of just want to use Ozzy as the first name. Ozzy Joseph Allen. I know some people hate double middle names, but the middle names are really a tribute to people and are important. Joseph is my husband's favorite uncle that just passed away at the beginning of July. Allen was my mom's maiden name, my brother's middle name, and my husband's middle name. I would reserve it for another child, but if I go eclamptic again, this is our last child.
My husband suggested Ozymandias. But mostly, I wanted to say how cool it is that you're using Joseph Allen as a middle name! We've been thinking about how to work Joseph Allen into a boy name for a long time because it was supposed to be my husband's mother's name. She was the third girl, and since they only had that name picked out, they named her Jo Ann instead. Anyway, we're using Joseph Allen as a middle name, too! Although, we're spelling Allen a little differently.
Our LO will be either Adam John or Benjamin Anthony. We are going to wait until he is born to choose. In the meantime, we are done discussing names with the family.
We are going with Brooklyn Love. I wanted to incorporate my late uncle's name (middle name Lynn) and my grandfather (middle name Love), so when my husband came up with Brooklyn we were sold
I picked "I have a name but DH doesn't know it yet". We agreed on Lucy. I tried discussing names early on, but he was dead set on Lucy, so I settled (but love it!). Now he has decided to discuss other names. Currently he has thrown out Piper, Sloane, Penelope and Beatrice. Sigh.
Sloane is our girl name but obviously we can't use it because boy. I have found it is a love/hate name, people either love it or hate it. I love it!
I have noticed this as well! I should have added, I love all of his names, except for Penelope. And Piper Sloane is reallllllly growing on me. We might have to make a game time decision after she is here.
In highschool I worked I'm a daycare and there was this gorgeous baby named Piper Sloane, think Sloane was her last name. That baby had better style than me. But I really do like that name a lot, just sounds good together.
We agreed on a boy name very quickly and were both happy with it. Of course then we found out we're having a girl so it is back to the drawing board. We really love the name Liliana but we were told that my SIL is in love with the name Lily and she would want to name a future daughter that. As far as we know she is done having children (she has 2 boys) but to avoid the drama, which she is known for, we crossed the name off the list because it's too similar. Sigh....
Special snowflake: Baby A has a first name (Nicole) DH has been wanting this name since we had DD but I wasn't so sure which is why we named her Courtney. As for Baby B, the only name we agree that we both like right now is Harper. So possible Nicole and Harper. We also don't have middle names yet. If it were up to me they'd be Nicole Elizabeth and Harper Evelyn.
We picked out names when we were TTC. We settled pretty easy on Owen Joseph for our son. If we were to have a girl in the future, she will be Lillian Faye.
We had two names picked out, one for a boy and one for a girl. Had the A/S and its 100% a girl (we could see the goods, if you will). Her name will be Alexandra Paige.
Now that I know we are having a girl I need to work on getting DH on my side for the name I really like. I spent a few hours today perusing names and I have to say, never have I ever been so picky. I hate everything. I want a spunky, unique name, but nothing that will make people have that look dogs give you when you say "treeaaattt???!"
My husband and I easily agreed on a boy name, but made the mistake of telling my mom...who hates it to the extent that she's acting says she'll refuse to call him by our name if we stick with it. Woof.
