My husband and I disagree on everything! Our son wasn't named until he was a day old. Luke Anthony is his name. I want Logan for a boy but DH hates it. I want Lillian for a girl but my cousin used it. I must have a thing for L names, completely unintentional.
The one girl name that I'm drawn to is Ella. I know it's risen in popularity over the years, but I still adore it. I'm a musician and my son is named after a jazz musician (Miles). Ella is the only other jazz inspired name I like. As for boys names, I'm S.O.L - the only name DH & I could agree on is Miles - if we have another boy it's going to take a lot of thought...
Boy- Cole Thomas (Thomas is my deceased fathers name)
Girl- I love Carys Mae (Mae is DH's deceased grandmothers name), but so far DH isn't loving Carys. He didn't like Brynn and first though and by the time she was born he felt like Brynn has been his idea all along.

Lorelei and John. Laura is a family name on my side but really overused so I wanted something similar but less popular and John is family name on my husbands side.
This is the hardest thing for us- We didn't name our DS until after he was born, so I'm sure we'll be debating this for the next 9 months...at least this time we're finding out the gender so that will help narrow it down.

I love Carys!!! I know my husband would totally veto it - girl names are SO hard for us to agree on - he hates everything!!
I'm stuck on Hazel for a girl, but my husband doesn't like it. It's my great grandmother's name. He really likes Haley, which doesn't really do anything for me. There aren't any boy names I've fallen in love with yet, but I haven't really been looking, either. We won't be outlandish or get creative, just don't want anything that's on the top 10 or 20 in popularity right now.

I've wanted to use Owen for my late great grandfather since I was about 15. Unfortunately it's risen in popularity over the last several years, but if we have a boy, we'll be using it
Trying to get knocked up since June 2012 ~ Dx: PCOS
We both are feeling like this will be a boy already and that name has been stuck for awhile. "Quinn" It's DH's middle name and I vetoed having a Jr. or using his first name (Chad), bc there are no good nn's and two Chad's is just too confusing. So it will probably be Quinn Arthur (Arthur after his grandpa and it means "bear" and for the last 2+ years, he has wanted Grizzly as a middle name.) Boy names are hard though, bc there isn't a lot that we LOVE.
Girl names we find a lot that both of us like. I told him I want to have a list of girl names and pick after she/he is born. So far our list looks like this: Emelia/Amelia, Emma, Eliza, Lana, Lena, Evangeline, Josephine, Eleanor, and then Caroline and Carolanne, I guess are possible middle names after our mom's.
Will I like same Initials so I'm Michelle dd is marissa Bf is Zebulon so I like Zaden and Zandon Zeb like Zander I love Mabel everyone else hates it Having a hard time with M names

For a boy we are going with Landon Travis or Ryan Travis. (Travis is DH's name)
For a girl, we don't agree on anything besides the middle name which is Annamarie. (DH's mom's middle is Anna, and my mom's is Marie). But our longish list includes:
Lorelai, Brielle, Aria, Kyla, Olivia, Summer, and Charlotte. I love love love Georgia, but DH said absolutely no way.

I love the name Owen, it's definitely our 2nd place boy name.
Girl: Hannah, Ava, Avery, Caroline.
Boy: Colin, Daniel, Owen.
I like names that sound like baby might be president or a movie star with the right abbreviation!

For a girl I really wanted to use my maiden name Perella, probably call her Ella. DH is not a fan. Paisley and Sawyer also make the list. for a boy I really like Grayson Thomas or Grayer Thomas (Thomas after my deceased dad)
I love Kal-el my hubby doesn't understand EVERY 1 in my family has to be name with a K name! I would like Khloe for a girl or something else but whatever it is I need K names!
My husband and I typically have different name styles. One of the few girl names we bith like is Emerson. But we both have a name list. I also like Aria, Lena, Violet, and some others. He like Harper, Alexandra, Chase and Maxwell for girls. Boys- I like Maxwell, Gavin, Deacon, Colton and Declan. He like Boston, Tucker, Brayden and Parker. Needless to say we have our work cut out for us.
I always thought we'd name our DD Briley (after an old friend) but we went with Taylor. So Briley is still on the list. I love Sawyer, Aria, Harper, Lucy, Layla (but my cousin used it and I'm not a fan of using their names)...
Boys, DH said Ralph. lol I like Liam but its a bit overused now. I always liked Lucas but I am pretty sure he vetoed that last time around. I have some searching of names to do but luckily plenty of time to do it! My bil just named their son Bastian (short for Sebastian, patron saint of athleticism or something)
Married 2005, DS: 2006, DD: 2008 EDD: 4/16/14- IT'S A GIRL! Scarlett Jean
For girls names I love Fiona Rose and Lilly Elizabeth. (Rose and Elizabeth were my grandmothers' first names). For boys names, I like Max and Evan but hubby hates both of these so back to the drawing board if it's a boy!
Re: Spill your baby names.
Lauren Taylor
