DD gets ground turkey, chicken, eggs and lots of beans. She hasn't had beef or pork yet, because I don't eat it so I don't cook it. She loves taco meat (I season the meat myself so she doesn't get all the salt of a packaged seasoning), turkey burgers and chicken in all forms. I also make a salad of beans, corn, garlic, onion, avocado and lime juice that she eats quite often.
They haven't had any meat yet. I don't really eat meat and although DH does it just hasn't been in our house. They eat eggs, beans, hummus, Greek yogurt, tofu, cheese and spicy black bean veggie burgers are a current favorite.

Thanks for asking this. I definitely don't give her enough protein. By the time dinner rolls around she just wants to play with her food. I might have to start sending it to daycare.
For those of you who do beans, what kind do you do an how do you prepare them? I'm clueless.

For beans we'll make beans and rice or something with beans in it and they just pick them up and eat them as is. Sometimes I'll make refried beans with some spices and smear it on pita or make them quesadillas with cheese and refried beans. They'll eat anything I put in front of them so I don't give it too much thought, honestly.

Chicken, ground turkey, yogurt, meatballs, cheese, eggs, and this kid loves lunchmeat...don't know if that is a no-no but he doesn't have any problems with it and it's not like it's at every meal.

chicken, beef, pork, cheese, fish, beans, turkey... peas! Peas have lots of protein too!
I'm more worried about not enough grains. He loves pasta of any kind, but he's not a huge fan of bread/toast, waffles/pancakes.
