Hmmmm looks like nobody is picking anybody. I guess someone has to give it a shot. **Gets down on one knee and looks up** @jaymayhatton will you be my labor buddy?
Ohh you pick? I thought it was put together!!! Idk how this stuff works.... :-S
From what I had gathered was the regs can pick from their favs and then those who don't pair themselves up, garden and jaymay would pair up so that no one gets left out.

I think this would be the most fair option. The point of labor Buddies is to have someone that can update the board when you go into labor. You want someone you can trust because you will have to give that person IRL contact info. I don't want to be paired with someone that is just a lurker or hasn't been participating for long. I don't want to be 38 weeks and in labor and my labor buddy is no longer interested in the Nov13 mamas.
You also want to choose someone that will not go into labor close to your date. If I pick someone due the 15 when I am due the 14, we may be in labor at the same time. So pick someone at least a week off from your date.

Garden, is this something I should participate in if I may possibly go early due to my issue? I think the longer LO bakes the chance of life much is better so I would stay on the board for sure. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks for organzing this!

Most definitely participate! Situations like yours are what labor buddies is for. If you have a labor buddy you can send them. Quick text letting them know and then they can update the board. That way you can concentrate on the baby.

Ack! I didn't realize that we got to pick. Now I feel like I'm in elementary school again and we are picking the teams for kickball (which I kicked ass in, no pun intended).

No one has to pick. I just know that some ladies have a deeper connection from being close on other boards and some if the PGAL ladies mentioned being grouped with another PGAL. If you are a rev you will be grouped with other regs. New folks will be grouped together as well.
