    Team Blue: Gavin Duke

    My father always signs things GD(Last Name)  so I went with that theme and came up with his name :) 

    I didn't know Gavin was so freaking popular... I want to change it but my husband loves it... ergh.

    Girl, Rosella Jolain. Rosie for short!

    Rosella/Rose are family names for both of us and Jolain was my sister's middle name who passed away.

    ATM baby is Felicity Ann.

    She has been Cameron Felicity (Cami) but I couldn't get over the boy/girl naming conflict. Next she was Clara Jane (both family names) until my mom let me know that she hates Clara and thinks its an ugly name.

    We've had Felicity on our name list with our 3 previous pregnancies and it keeps getting passed up. We love it, but it still feels like we're settling.

    Garrison Gale
    Delaney Lynn

    I love Gavin and so does MH. It was our #2 pick. I didn't let popularity sway us at all, I feel like we're going to see more Braydens and the like than Gavins. And at least he has the option of initials GD too :) JD's a popular name initial, why not GD.

    Thank you so much, that means a lot!!! It's really the only name would could both get on board with, SO wanted a more "mainstream" name and I wante something more unique. And this way she can go by Rose when she gets older instead of Rosie if she wants something more "grown up."

    Ugh, naming a human is stressful, isn't it?!?

    I'm going to be sincere here and say I think it's my favorite name I've heard yet. Of course I'm biased, if we were having a girl we were gonna go with a similar -- Roslyn. I also believe that giving a child a choice of NNs is very considerate of her identity. i.e. if she's 6 and she meets another little girl named Lynn and decides she wants to go by that instead, I'm on board. It's your name sweetie!

    We are leaning towards Maddison as a first name (call her Maddie), and her middle name will be Pennie (DH's mom's name).  So.....Maddison Pennie E..........

    DH wanted to use Pennie as a first name, and I said no but we could use it as a middle name.  All 7 of us DIL's call her Pennie, so I didn't want to confuse things by naming our daughter Pennie as well.  Plus my mom's feelings would get hurt that we didn't name one of our girls after her, so I would just like to keep everyone happy.

    Almost 100% decided on John Maxwell..... DH is John Michael and he is a Jr. I am not a fan of using 3rd for names so we will still keep the same initials but we will call the baby Max!!!

    We're alternating between Ellie and Nora for nicknames.
    Both DH and my maternal grandmother are Eleanor and my paternal grandmother is Angelina so it was pretty easy for us, we've been calling her by name since 16 weeks :)

    I think we are pretty set on Audrey Elizabeth for our LO. But I made the mistake of telling my mother and she kept bugging me about it so much (wanting to know if I'm SURE) that I almost wanted to pick something else just because she was driving me crazy with it. I think next time I'll just keep it to myself until the end.

    Why are people giving you the side eye? Seems like a perfectly respectable name to me. Ivy isn't common maybe, but it's a legit name!

    Agreed, I like it too. I suspect Beyonce may have played a part in the side-eyes. Ivy Marie is pretty.

    I'm still reading since people are still posting.. it's interesting to see what everyone has chosen! I haven't seen a duplicate of my LO's first name yet.
