10wk 2dys had ultrasound saw sac but no baby is this normal????

im 240 and 10w 2d pregnant when I was 6wks they did a ultrasound and say only sac so they had to do a tv ultrasound now that im 10wks 2dys they only saw the sac again is this normal am big around my belly im scared have apt next week at another clinic I hope nothing is wrong is anybody in the same boat as I am ifso what happen did everything come out normal

worried and she says it might be that its hideing or because Im a bit big on my belly they wanted to do a trans vaginal but they had to do a pap smear and they didn't want to put a lot of stress on me which didn't work cuz now im all stressed out I have a apt at the hospital next week

I thought your first post said that you had a transvaginal u/s at 10 weeks.

Did you have bloodwork to check your Hcg?

Also, how are they calculating that you are 10 weeks, if they have not seen the embryo?

I have another ultrasound next week she said she seen it in most over weight patients I don't know to believe her

because at 6wks I was spotting just a lil and went to the er they did a ultrasound and just saw the sac but no baby then they did a trans vaginal and it showed up they measured it and it was 6wk 2days yes they took a lot of blood everything was fine they even congratulated me

the er said iwas perfectly fine my cervix was closed blood was good that was at 6wk

So there was an embryo before but not anymore?

i felt so bad but she also had one of those really old ultrasound machine that the screens is like a box tv

It doesn't sound good to see a sac four weeks ago and only a sac now. The baby should have developed a lot in those four weeks.

Perhaps your weight interferes somewhat, but I can't imagine it interfering that badly.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope you get a TV ultrasound ASAP.

I just had a ultrasound and saw baby and heart beat and mine was not trans vaginal. I was 6 weeks 2 day. Will be praying for you!!!

What he means is a retroflexed uterus. Google a pic of it. Just eat right, drink water to keep hydrated in the summer, and think positive.

had the worse news yesterday I started to bleed heavily and went to the ER and my baby heart beat stop at 7 or 8 wks old and yesterday would of been 11wks so Dr. confirmed that it was a miscarriage and had a D and C so much pain and hurt.
