I always wanted a sister

I never got to have a sister, and it was something I really wanted. So I'm very very happy that DS is going to get to have a little brother! 

Now, DH and I were both hoping for a girl, really, but I know it's going to be wonderful. Mostly, I'm having to adjust to seeing myself as the mom of two boys. For some reason, I never even imagined this! My brothers were very difficult babies/children, so it was always a really scary thought for me. But having DS, and knowing how awesome he is, it's not so scary anymore.

    Little boys are so sweet (as you know).  I'm sure it will be great- what a special gift you are giving your DS a baby brother--he'll have a best friend right away :)

    Congrats! I have 2 boys and it is wonderful. Based on all of our friends with kids boys are a heck of a lot easier (of course every child is different though). I love that they get to be brothers and grow up together.

    BFP 5/21/10, Missed m/c 7/5/10 at 11w3d (baby measured 7wks), D&C 7/7/10

    Aug/Sept 2010 - CD3&10 b/w & u/s, genetic testing, SA, HSG, & Lap/Hyst to remove septum

    12/09/10 BFP -- 7/05/11 DS born at 33w5d. Came home after 23d in NICU at 37w0d

    June 2012 - TTC #2! -- 10/05/12 BFP --  5/23/13 DS2 born at 37w1d! Yay full term!

    Surprise BFP 6/25/14 LO#3 due Feb2015!
