Do NOT pull out a mirror and try and look down south anytime soon.
This literally made me LOL!!!

Ditto! That gif is awesome. I haven't tried to look down there. I don't intend to unless I need to for some reason. I feel like it's just going to be a massacre of epic proportions down there after delivery, so I'm just leaving it alone!

Just you wait until after delivery. (sorry, I had to in light of one of the UOs today).
Seriously though, don't even look down there until like 3 months PP.
After DD when the surgeon was done stitching me up he shoved the mirror down there and said "this is pretty bad. I've never seen anything like this. You gotta take a look at this!" It was horrifying to say the least. I had some very rare complications though. But still that is a phrase you never want you lady bits surgeon to say!

Oh my gosh! I can't believe he said that! I would have slapped him!

It is swollen and red and I spotted one possibly two rhoids. My pretty lady parts look like they were hit with a meat cleaver.
Ah yes. Rhoids. I had to get on all fours and have DH snoop around to investigate mine. That was an awkward request for him. I tried to use the hand mirror, but I just couldn't coordinate it between the belly and the contorting. I have no idea what the front end looks like.

Oh-em-gee. I had to get stitched up after my little girl and thank God my doctor showed me some compassion and never mentioned anything.

I was pretty shocked first and then I found out I am now a legend at my hospital and MW office because of my delivery. Oh and he was an amazing surgeon and I healed perfectly so I can't be too mad.
ETA: My MW did warn me before the surgeon even came in that he had bad bedside manners but that he was the best.
Clearly this must by my UO, why is everyone looking anyhow??? I feel like no news is good news from down below. I suppose I understand if there is an issue, like a generous or something, but I don't even own a hand mirror! I'm not a prude, but I've never just thought, hmm, I wonder what's going on down there. Needless to say I will not be looking pp!
I love this thread, it's hilarious! I tried to be "sexy" and send my DH a pic of my lady bits the other day. I snapped a shot , took a look and immediately deleted it and was saddened and shocked. I told him about this later and he was rolling with laughter... @-)
