Pain in right side

Hi all. I'm five weeks PP. The last couple days I've been having a pain in my right side not in the incision, but above my hip and about 3 inches in to the middle. It hurts worse when I get up from sitting or laying and when walking around. I plan to ask my doctor about it next week. But Has anyone else experienced this after c section?

    I actually have been having this with my second pregnancy (First was a c-section) and my doctor has told me it's an adhesion. Your tissue and everything else are going back together and working to heal and it can be painful. Scar tissue forming can sometimes hurt too.

    I'd definitely ask your doc like you suggested, but I just want you to know my personal experience with that pain.

    I'm having surgery tomorrow to release adhesions. My are causing severe pain and a bowel blockage. Keep an eye on it. Usually they get better without intervention.

    I had that same sort of pain on my right side. It went away at about eight weeks pp. I asked the doctor about it, apparently it is from the internal incision/stitching and has to do with what side the physician was standing during surgery.

    Interesting. My dr was on my left and the pain is on the right. Is that how it was for you?

    Huh, no, actually she was on the right and my pain was on the right. Odd.

    i had the same pain and they told me the same thing. doctor was on my right, pain on the left.
