So my HCG went from 198 Monday to 942 this morning!! The nurse said when they saw that number they all thought twins. OMG- thanks for one more thing for me to wonder about until my 8 week ultrasound :)

I know the "normal" HCG numbers have a huge variant so I'm not really considering twins seriously but that's a huge jump!

    How cool! I know there's a wide variant, but statistically a few people on this board will have twins...it could be you!

    I can't even imagine! I think my husband would have a heart attack :) I will be happy with whatever we are blessed with!

    what day were you when you got 198? I took my first blood test tuesday and i was 4w2d and they told me 281. Just wondering if mine is unusually low.

    3wks 5 days. However I think I O'd early and there is a ginormous range of normal for betas. The number itself doesn't really mean a ton- it's the rate of rise that does.

    I just got my numbers and it is a 732.8. The doc is making me retake it because I may not be further along as once thought (instead of 5 wks maybe I'm 4?). They're hoping that my numbers doubled since Monday, so please pray for high numbers! Not sure what to think- but not really stressing. :-)

    Christine maybe you ovulated a bit later than you think or baby implanted later ( it mai implant between 5 and 12 DPO, so there`s a big range).

    10 DPO 265
    12 DPO 697
    14 DPO 2,023

    5 more days until i get to see what's inside...  stay tuned!

    Don't worry! Mine at 4w2d was 153, and with CD at 4w2d it was 145!

    Don't worry! Mine at 4w2d was 153, and with CD at 4w2d it was 145!

    At 3wks 6days I was 52. At 4wks 1 day I was 98. I don't think I implanted until 12dpo though. BTW my doctors said my numbers were good as they were doing what they were supposed to be doing. I don't think the numbers matter as much as whether or not they get 60% or higher over 2-3 days.
